Idris trudged down the endless road. It was dark but some parts were brightly illuminated by helium lights and advertisment boards.

He walked like one with the weight of the world on his shoulder. He was aimless, with no place to go and with no one to go to.

Have he made the right decision rejecting the two million dollars offered to him as alimony. He waved off the idea instantly, he would take solace in knowing that Victoria will be alright.

Four years ago, the whole Ashfall and beyond lost two great people, one was Albert Pierce, the head of the Pierce family and the head of the Piaso Empire, the biggest empire in the whole Ashfall and beyond.

As you can guess, Idris Vader was the second person except in his case, he disappered. In his time, he was by a landslide, the most powerful and influential person in Ashfall and beyond.

This he have achieved without any titular position rather he wield his power and influence from the shadows. Every powerful name, empire, organization, company, gang, family, clan and government officials wanted him as an ally or friend but he was only friend to and loyal to Albert Pierce.

The Piaso empire domination existed because of him. But after Albert's death, he was broken, devoid of purpose he resigned and disapppeared till now. No one have seen or heard of him.

"Haahahahaha!!! It got him! I told you!"

"Nice shot, Rob! Nice shot!"

"Told you I used to be a quarterback!" The rambuictious laughters and chatters of three rowdy boys shatters the silent ambience as projected empty tins pelts on Idris.

Idris ignored them and continued his journey to no where in particular.

"You're damn rude man, can't you give Rob some credit. He risked his reputation to get those tins on you."

"Haahahaha!"

"That's enough, stop right there!" The tallest among them walked briskly towards Idris, closing up the gap in a bit, "Am talking to you old pa" He scorned as he pushed him back, causing him to stagger a bit.

For the first time, Idris spared them a glance and it was cold. "Who sent you my friends?" He managed to mumble.

"Sent us?" One said as they exchanged glances, a bit startled by the question.

"And who said we were paid?"

"No one sent us old pa, we just want to have some fun." another replied and another bout of laughter erupted.

"Greenhorns do not get to play with there food." Idris drawled.

"Who is this guy?"

"Who the fuck do you think you're, huh? The shortest among them struts towards him, trying to intimidate him.

"Easy Lax, don't scare our philospher away."

"Philospher" Idris chucked dryly, "Is that some new tag for one with common sense this days. Ohhhh my, why're kids dumb this days?" He said raising his head to the sky

"I spotted you guys an hour ago, that's before you guys decided to get a beer and play drunk. Like I said, amatuers don't get to play with their food, that's only meant for apex predators and I can't see any here.."

"You talk too much for someone that's is about to die."

Immediately, the three drew out their pocket knives, ready to attack.

"Finally" Idris inhaled deeply with a calm smile, "For a moment, I thought I won't be getting any action."

"Mr Gray said hi" One said and immediately, he carelessly swinged forward the knife towards him, Idris crouched effortlessly, jabbed him in the ribs and elbowed his face. 'Arrrgh!" The boy crumpled like a paper.

The other two were horrified at the sight of the motionless body of their comrade, but that wasn't enough to make them take to their heels.

The other swinged a well mastered kick towards him, Idris stepped back, then he swinged his dagger causing Idris to side step and grab him by the scruf of his neck, using his strength to toss him on the tarred road.

The other emerged like a lighting strike towards his face, he stepped back a bit, the lighting fist grazing his cheek.

He reacted with a ferocious kick to his ribs, then another to the other side before sending him to disneyland with an uppercut to his jaw.

"Amateurs"

He marched slowly towards the only one that was still moving. He bent towards him,"Hey..Hey, don't cry on me now, easy, shush..." Idris pats his chin as the victim wriths and scream in pain.

Idris dipped his hand into his shirt pocket and brough out a handerkerchief, "Wow, you got yourself some clean stuff here."

"Ta...a..ke it" he stammered in pain, mucous gushing while he bled

"No no no, I just need to borrow it." He said, cleaning stains and bloods off himself and then tucked it back into his pocket.

"You see, I keep to my words."

"Ple...a..se, d..dont kill..."

"Phew!" a ferocious object squashes his head into a bloody sight.

It wasn't from Idris but he wasn't startled either, On raising his head, the stuuning figure of a tall blond lady with braided locs emerged from the dark.
