Night cloaked the Southern Domain in silence. The moon hung low above the mountains, veiled by drifting clouds as if even the heavens wished to remain unseen.

Far below, a lone figure moved swiftly through the darkness.

Armstrong.

His black robe blended perfectly with the shadows as he crossed the ancient forest bordering the Solartin Empire. His movements were fluid, unnaturally silent, every step carrying him dozens of meters forward like a phantom gliding across the earth.

It had been three days since he left Briana.

Three days of running without rest.

Three days of suppressing the terrifying aura sleeping inside his bloodline.

And three days of feeling it.

The hunt.

The entire Southern Domain was searching for him.

Armstrong could sense it everywhere.

Imperial patrols in the skies.

Sect elders sweeping mountains with spiritual sense.

Ancient beasts disturbed by the unrest.

Even the very air felt hostile.

He tightened his grip around the silver-blue Sect Leader’s Seal hidden beneath his robes.

Central Domain… Celestial Maiden Palace…

He still didn’t fully understand why Briana trusted him with such an important mission. But one thing was clear.

He could not fail.

If he was caught here…

everything ended.

His pace quickened.

The Meridian Awakening Realm had transformed his body completely. Spiritual meridians now pulsed like rivers of molten gold beneath his flesh, amplifying every movement.

His body cultivation had become monstrous.

Each breath sharpened his senses.

Each heartbeat carried enough force to shake weaker cultivators unconscious.

And yet, something felt wrong.

The power was unstable.

Like a beast pacing inside a cage.

It wanted release.

Suddenly, a cold voice echoed through the forest.

“You’ve run far enough boy.”

Armstrong’s body froze instantly.

His instincts screamed.

Danger.

A majestic figure stepped out from the darkness ahead.

Tall.

Broad-shouldered.

Wrapped in crimson armor etched with imperial dragon patterns.

A scar ran down the left side of his face, and his eyes glowed like burning coals.

The pressure rolling off him made the surrounding trees bow violently.

Armstrong’s pupils contracted.

One of the Crimson Emperor’s Twelve Generals.

General Kael Draven.

The Crimson Executioner.

The man smiled coldly.

“So you’re the source of that disturbance.”

His voice was calm, but his killing intent crushed the earth beneath his feet.

“I expected some ancient hidden monster.”

His smile widened.

“And instead I find a little boy who is just learning how to walk.”

Armstrong’s muscles tensed.

How?

He had hidden his tracks perfectly.

Kael seemed to read his thoughts.

“The Emperor’s blood decree reacts to anomalies in Heaven’s Laws.”

His eyes narrowed.

“You stand outside the system.”

The words hit Armstrong hard.

So Briana had been right.

The Emperor truly knew.

Kael slowly unsheathed his crimson blade. Its edge radiated suffocating imperial authority.

“Kneel before me,” he said.

The surrounding space froze instantly.

An overwhelming pressure descended.

This was Law Suppression.

A force that could make even Nascent Soul experts collapse instantly.

Armstrong staggered a little then stopped.

Kael frowned.

Armstrong slowly lifted his head.

Golden-red light flickered within his eyes. The suppression… felt weak.

As if the Laws themselves hesitated to bind him. A pulse surged from his chest.

The first seal’s broken mark glowed faintly.

Kael’s expression darkened.

“So it’s indeed true.”

His killing intent exploded.

BOOM!

He vanished.

Armstrong barely raised his arms before Kael’s fist slammed into him.

The impact blasted him through dozens of trees.

The forest erupted in splinters.

Armstrong crashed through stone and skidded across the earth.

Pain surged through his body.

His ribs cracked instantly.

Blood spilled from his lips.

He forced himself upright.

Fast.

Far too fast.

Kael appeared again.

Another strike.

Armstrong crossed his arms to block the attack.

BOOM!

This time, the ground beneath him shattered into a crater.

His bones screamed.

Kael looked down coldly.

“A child playing with a stolen power. How funny this is.”

Armstrong’s vision blurred.

He was stronger now, yes.

But this was a true general of the Crimson Emperor.

A being several major realms above him.

He couldn’t win normally.

Kael raised his blade.

“Die ant.”

The sword descended.

And something inside Armstrong snapped.

A roar exploded from his chest.

Not human.

Primal.

Ancient.

BOOOOOOM!!

Crimson-gold energy erupted violently.

Kael’s blade froze inches from Armstrong’s neck.

The surrounding Laws distorted.

Cracks spread through space itself.

Kael’s pupils shrank.

Behind Armstrong rose the phantom of an enormous ape.

Its body towered into the heavens.

Its eyes burned with endless rebellion.

The Heaven Breaker Ape.

Armstrong slowly stood.

His broken ribs healed instantly with audible cracks. Golden markings spread across his skin like molten scripture.

His muscles expanded slightly, becoming denser and wilder.

His eyes glowed completely gold-red now.

And then,

He smiled.

Kael unconsciously took a step back.

For the first time in centuries…

fear touched his heart.

“What are you the fuck are you...”

Armstrong abruptly moved.

The earth exploded beneath him.

He appeared before Kael instantly.

Too fast.

His fist descended.

Kael barely raised his blade.

CRACK.

The imperial weapon shattered.

Kael’s eyes widened in horror.

The punch landed.

BOOOOOOM!!

His armored body was launched across the forest like a cannonball, tearing through mountains before vanishing into the distance.

Silence followed.

Armstrong stood motionless, breathing heavily.

Power surged through him.

Endless.

Violent.

Perfect.

This was strength.

This was what it meant to break Heaven itself.

His bloodline roared for more.

Destroy.

Consume.

Devour.

His gaze shifted toward the distant imperial soldiers arriving through the skies. And for one terrifying moment, he wanted to slaughter them all.

Every last one.

This thought of his felt natural ans pleasant.

A monstrous grin spread across his face.

Then suddenly, pain exploded in his skull.

“GHHH!”

Armstrong dropped to one knee.

The golden-red aura fluctuated wildly.

The ape phantom roared in fury as if resisting something.

His heart pounded violently.

The bloodline was losing control.

It was consuming his reason.

“No…”

"...I'm stronger than this"

He clenched his head.

The instinct to kill intensified. He could feel it clearly now. This power wasn’t fully his.

It was wild and untamed.

And if he let go completely, he would become exactly what Briana feared.

A monster.

With a final roar, Armstrong forced the energy back down.

The ape phantom shattered.

The golden markings vanished.

Silence returned.

He collapsed to one knee, drenched in sweat.

His breathing was ragged.

His body trembled violently.

The instability was worse than he imagined.

If he lost control again…

he might never return.

Far away, buried beneath shattered stone, Kael coughed blood.

His entire chest had caved inward.

His eyes trembled with disbelief.

One punch.

A single punch had nearly killed him.

He forced himself upright and looked toward Armstrong’s distant figure.

Horror filled his face.

He immediately crushed a crimson transmission talisman.

The message shot toward the heavens.

Straight to the Imperial Palace.

His voice trembled as he spoke.

“Your Majesty…”

“The rebel has awakened.”

Far away, within the Crimson Imperial Palace, the Emperor slowly opened his eyes. The moment he heard the report, he smiled.

Cold.

Excited.

His fingers tightened against the dragon throne.

“At last.”

He rose to his feet, imperial pressure shaking the heavens.

“Prepare the Crimson Hunt.”

Across the entire Southern Domain, war horns began to sound.

And deep in the forest, Armstrong slowly stood again, unaware that from this moment forward, the Emperor himself was coming for him.

The Legendary Crimson Hunt has begun.
