While the others fell back asleep, Leon couldn't close his eyes at all even though his body felt so tired. The boy couldn't close his eyes, the dream that had just happened was still clearly in his mind about the screams and thunderous laughter. Leon didn't understand, and the system didn't provide any information about it when he searched for it earlier.

He lay on his bed for quite a while, staring at the ceiling of the room which was dimly lit by the light of a small candle in the corner of the room. Leon was silent, his thoughts were in chaos. Leon was still wondering why they were there now.

"Who am I?" Leon grumbled in his heart without being able to get an answer. The system couldn't answer when asked the same thing.

The place was quiet and felt so cold and tense. The darkness that enveloped him seemed to devour all life there. Leon was still silent, thinking about what the darkness was like.

"The Summer Village seems lifeless," Leon thought.

The boy then woke up from his sleep lying on his back and sat on a fairly soft and flexible mattress. He sat cross-legged, his face down as he took something out of his magic bag. Now in his hand, Leon was holding a necklace pendant in the shape of a small silver whistle.

"I wonder, what is this?" said the boy to his system.

"Answer me, Young Master. It's a bird whistle. But you can't blow it carelessly," answered Leon's system.

"Why?" he asked curiously.

"It's something rare, and also feared by the king, so take good care of it. When the time comes, you will need it," answered the system again.

"Is it some kind of help?"

"Yes, exactly like that."

"When should I use it?"

"When the time comes. However, if you blow it now, it will be useless," said the system again.

Leon frowned. "Why?"

"Because it will only be useful at certain times. However, I didn't expect you to get that thing, Young Master," said the system again.

Leon played with the whistle pendant in his hand, its shape was like a small bamboo stick.

"I also didn't expect to get this," Leon admitted while still staring at the object in his palm. The necklace was made of cloth, not a chain.

"You're not going to wear it?" the system asked.

"I don't think so. I don't like accessories," Leon replied calmly.

"Then, I suggest you keep it well. Because when the time comes, you will need it. It's also dangerous," the system said again.

"Why?" Leon asked, not understanding.

"You'll find out later. That's all my advice, see you later." Leon's system just turned off, leaving the room dim.

"It's always like that," Leon sighed.

It was always like that when Leon wanted to ask more about something, the system would just turn off as if to avoid explaining something to Leon.

With a sigh, Leon looked around the room, it was quiet. His friends were already fast asleep, but Leon was not sleepy at all. The boy lowered his legs from the bed and moved slowly. Leon was starting to get bored too because he was not sleepy at all. The boy walked towards the tightly closed wooden window and peeked through the small gap there.

Leon frowned as something disturbed his sense of smell. "It smells really bad," he said softly. Ignoring him, Leon peered through the gap in the wooden window again. It was dark outside, completely devoid of anything.

Rising and sitting on a chair in the middle of the room, Leon pondered. Life at night seemed dead as if there was nothing out there even though it wasn't.

"I have to find out. Something seems wrong," Leon thought. The boy turned on his system again, trying to find out what the Summer Village they had stopped at was like.

The Summer Village was a beautiful village with flowers that only grew in the summer. Not only that, the village was included in the ranks of beautiful villages that had stunning views. The residents were friendly, kind, and happy to share. The village also held special entertainment at night during the fireworks festival that bloomed once every hundred years. People from various villages would come to watch the flowers bloom. However, the beauty, warmth, and happiness of the Summer Village disappeared in an instant once the king changed, resulting in prolonged darkness and sadness.

“To find out the condition of the villagers, what should I do?” Leon asked after the system explained the summer village along with the images displayed on a transparent screen that only Leon could see.

“For now, because the change might be difficult. I guess you still remember what the villagers were like when they arrived, right? I know, you’re observant,” the system said.

This time Leon was silent, remembering when they had just arrived in front of the gate.

“Who is the village chief?” Leon asked.

“You’ve seen and met him,” the system answered which made Leon’s forehead wrinkle in confusion. “That’s all. However, I need to remind you, that you shouldn’t turn on the system when you’re in the middle of a crowd, it will be risky, and the system won’t respond for a long time. Please also tell your friends, using the system too much, the points you have will quickly decrease. So use it wisely,” the system said again giving a warning.

Leon nodded his head. “Okay. I understand.”

“Then, rest well. One more thing, don’t draw your sword unless it reacts.” Then after saying that the system died leaving Leon with a question.

"Only when reacting?"

That question made Leon take out his sword from inside the small magic bag. The sword was stored well and put on the table. The sword was quite long with elegant carvings. When he saw the blade was gone, Leon became curious about what the sword blade was like.

"Why did I get this?" Leon thought not understanding at all what weapon he got.

Grabbing the sword again. Leon pulled the handle, but the blade was completely invisible. But the sword suddenly vibrated and made a loud sound that surprised Leon. By itself, the sword handle and sheath immediately rejoined, making Leon even more surprised. He put the sword back into his small bag and stored it well, the sound disappeared in an instant making Leon's heart beat fast.

"What is that?" Leon asked himself while looking around, none of his friends were awake, and the atmosphere was still silent. "What sound is that?"

Leon wondered what kind of sword it was with the strange sound he heard earlier.

"Am I the only one who heard it?" Leon thought.

The boy didn't know that every time the sword was drawn from its sheath, it caused vibrations somewhere far away from his position, and only one person knew about those vibrations.

Following Azlan’s instructions, the villagers returned to their homes, while several men were assigned to guard outside each house.
