Victor’s sights locked onto a cloaked figure sneaking near the goblin settlement, one of the last elites left behind.

“Begin the operation,” he muttered to Reina.

-Shink!-

The gleam of blades flashed.

Before the remaining goblins could even scream, twelve throats were slit in perfect unison. The assassins vanished back into the folds of the tent fabric, leaving behind only spreading pools of black blood.

Still scanning for the next special goblin, Victor asked,

The one that nearly wiped out our kingdom?” he answered confidently, his eyes locked on Eldrin.A war that claimed countless lives across this continent…That thought echoed grimly in Victor’s mind.Hearing Victor’s words, Eldrin slowly shook his head. Point of View: VictorAfter Lyanna left, Victor immediately began eating in a hurry. Remember your manners,” while gathering the empty plates and handing them to the waiting servant.Victor glanced at her with a grin. “Time is money, right?” he replied, before continuing his quick meal.Liselotte sighed and shook her head. “But, Prince—”“Ah… finally done,” Victor interrupted in a satisfied tone.He stood up, smiled at Liselotte, and said, “I’ll leave the rest to you,” before heading to the living room. There, he placed a bottle of magic ink, a pen, and a large wooden leg frame on the table. After checking the materials, Victor nodded slightly and smiled. “Now, all that’s left is to draw the magic runes,” he said, sitting down to start his work.Only a few minutes passed when Edeline came running. “Prince!!” she called, her voice urgent.Startled, Victor looked up.

After finishing her task, Reina walked back to the inn with light, nearly soundless steps.Once outside, she leapt up to the roof in one swift motion, then contacted Hilda.“Hilda, open the window… I want to come in,” she said casually, waiting while gazing at the calm city view from the rooftop.Moments later, Hilda slid the window open. Once she stepped aside, Reina slipped in quickly and silently. As Hilda was about to close the window again, Lyanna’s voice suddenly came through the communicator still connected.“Wait for me…!! Hosh… hosh… hosh…” said Lyanna, her voice breathless as if she’d just sprinted at full speed.Seeing that Lyanna also wanted to climb in through the window, Reina frowned slightly and replied with a flat tone, “Just use the front door… it’s easier.”“Ah… you’re right,” answered Lyanna, immediately stopping her run.Realizing she was already near the inn, Lyanna switched to walking casually toward the front door, mumbling shyly,“Yeah… I forgot.”About ten mi

Three hours later, when the Adventure Guild finally fell silent and the last outer lantern dimmed, Reina watched quietly from the height of the inn’s rooftop. Her black eyes narrowed, and with a cold, expressionless face, she murmured,“Now… it’s time.”She glided forward like a shadow, running swiftly and leaping from rooftop to rooftop in the silence and darkness of the night, unseen even by the keenest eyes. After landing lightly in front of the main entrance of the Adventure Guild, she whispered,“[Vanishing Mist].” (Skill)Her body flickered, then vanished completely, blending into the illusionary mist of magic.
