Reina folded her arms, looking around at the maids. Her expression was calm, but her tone was sharp.

“Are you all sure you can build it?” she asked sweetly — dangerously — her golden eyes gleaming like blades. “Just because we’ve seen it… doesn’t mean we can make it.”

The room fell silent again, as if the very air had grown heavier. The whispers stopped. A few of the younger maids exchanged nervous glances.

Seeing that everyone had quieted down, Reina turned her gaze toward Victor.

“How are we going to make it?” she asked seriously.

Victor looked back at her, confused. “You mean… both of them?” he asked awkwardly.

Reina nodded once.

Victor exhaled lightly, then stood a little straighter. “If it’s the 98 Mosquito, we can start cutting materials from the nearest Balsa Wood Core. It’s light, easy to work with, and strong enough once we reinforce it with a rune layer. We’ll need to integrate magical reinforcement along the main spars and joints.”

Remember your manners,” while gathering the empty plates and handing them to the waiting servant.Victor glanced at her with a grin. “Time is money, right?” he replied, before continuing his quick meal.Liselotte sighed and shook her head. “But, Prince—”“Ah… finally done,” Victor interrupted in a satisfied tone.He stood up, smiled at Liselotte, and said, “I’ll leave the rest to you,” before heading to the living room. There, he placed a bottle of magic ink, a pen, and a large wooden leg frame on the table. After checking the materials, Victor nodded slightly and smiled. “Now, all that’s left is to draw the magic runes,” he said, sitting down to start his work.Only a few minutes passed when Edeline came running. “Prince!!” she called, her voice urgent.Startled, Victor looked up.

After finishing her task, Reina walked back to the inn with light, nearly soundless steps.Once outside, she leapt up to the roof in one swift motion, then contacted Hilda.“Hilda, open the window… I want to come in,” she said casually, waiting while gazing at the calm city view from the rooftop.Moments later, Hilda slid the window open. Once she stepped aside, Reina slipped in quickly and silently. As Hilda was about to close the window again, Lyanna’s voice suddenly came through the communicator still connected.“Wait for me…!! Hosh… hosh… hosh…” said Lyanna, her voice breathless as if she’d just sprinted at full speed.Seeing that Lyanna also wanted to climb in through the window, Reina frowned slightly and replied with a flat tone, “Just use the front door… it’s easier.”“Ah… you’re right,” answered Lyanna, immediately stopping her run.Realizing she was already near the inn, Lyanna switched to walking casually toward the front door, mumbling shyly,“Yeah… I forgot.”About ten mi

“Hosh... hosh... hosh...”Lyanna ran through the narrow alleys, her boots thudding against the cobblestone, her breath ragged.“Aahh... Prince!!” she growled between breaths, frustration twisting her face.“Why didn’t you say the mission was tonight?!”She threw both hands up in exasperation as she turned a corner. “Damn it!!”And then—Flashback.Earlier, at the mansion—Victor sat calmly, sketching a new design with intense focus.Liselotte entered quietly.“Your Highness…” she bowed slightly, then gestured gracefully to the side.“Your meal is ready.”Her voice was soft, her smile faint.Victor gave a small nod, then calmly packed his sketches into a spatial bag.“Bring whatever’s been prepared,” he said, standing and walking toward the table.Just as the food was being served—“TA-DAA~!”Lyanna burst through the door, grinning proudly while holding a plate of her own special dish.“Here, Your Highness! Something special from me~”She set the food down dramatically, beaming.Victor

Three hours later, when the Adventure Guild finally fell silent and the last outer lantern dimmed, Reina watched quietly from the height of the inn’s rooftop. Her black eyes narrowed, and with a cold, expressionless face, she murmured,“Now… it’s time.”She glided forward like a shadow, running swiftly and leaping from rooftop to rooftop in the silence and darkness of the night, unseen even by the keenest eyes. After landing lightly in front of the main entrance of the Adventure Guild, she whispered,“[Vanishing Mist].” (Skill)Her body flickered, then vanished completely, blending into the illusionary mist of magic. Without a sound, she slipped through the front door and moved swiftly up to the second floor, her presence no more than a passing breeze. At the end of the corridor, Reina stopped in front of the Archive Room door. When she tried to open it slowly,‘Still locked,’ Reina thought, exhaling a resigned sigh.Without hesitation, she pulled out a sleek black universal key and c

“Sis Reina, see you again!!” shouted Liora, her face shining with joy as she waved both her hands high in the air, left and right, toward Reina, who sat gracefully inside the noble carriage. From her seat, Reina looked at Liora through the open carriage door, her expression gentle.“Yes… see you again…” she replied softly yet clearly, her voice carrying from afar as she waved back with a faint smile. One of the guards standing near Liora hesitantly said,“Miss, could you please…”Liora turned with a small annoyed pout.“I know… just a moment,” she replied shortly before turning back and waving once more at Reina with a cheerful smile. With light steps despite her sulky expression, she walked back toward the castle gate in the middle of the city.Reina watched her until Liora completely disappeared from view beyond the castle gate. Once Liora was out of sight, Reina let out a long sigh, her expression shifting to weariness.“Finally…” she muttered. Then, turning to Cedric, who stood be

  • Chapter 55 – Lyanna Returns

Thirty minutes after Reina left, Victor was hunched over his desk, completely absorbed in sketching the design of a mechanical horse. Suddenly, he stopped, blinked twice, and muttered,"Ah... I forgot."Victor sat upright, glancing left and right, realizing the living room was now empty. He let out a small sigh, then stood up, murmuring quietly to himself,“No other choice…”He walked out toward the foyer, where Anna sat silently at the table, listening to the receiver of the central radio in the corner of the room. In front of her were a pen and paper, ready to record any message at any time.“Anna—” Victor called, but before he could continue, the door suddenly burst open with a sharp clack!“I’m back!!” Lyanna shouted cheerfully, her voice lively and full of energy. She stepped inside carrying a large pile of hunted game — rabbits, birds, and a few wild boars — tied and slung over her shoulders as if they weighed nothing.Behind her, Liselotte entered, slightly out of breath, her f
