The heavy silence that followed Julian’s declaration was deafening. Shareholders, board members, and reporters sat frozen, their eyes locked on the leather-bound ledger resting in the center of the mahogany signing table.

Patricia’s hands trembled violently as she reached out, her manicured fingers clawing at the folder. She flipped open the front cover. Beneath the official gold-embossed seal of the Vance Global Syndicate Treasury, her own signature was inked at the bottom of the original thirty-million-dollar credit agreement, alongside a certified transfer deed executed at 12:01 AM.

"N-No..." Patricia’s voice quavered, the color draining entirely from her face. "This can't be real... How could a courier buy a thirty-million-dollar institutional loan?!"

Richard Sterling, who had remained calm throughout the proceedings, slammed his palms down on the table, standing up with a scowl. He grabbed the documents from Patricia’s hands, his sharp eyes scanning the transfer verification code.

As his eyes read the central treasury seal, Richard’s jaw tightened. He turned his head slowly toward Julian, the contempt in his eyes instantly replaced by a deep, unsettling caution. "Vance Global Syndicate... the phantom financial conglomerate from the capital..."

Brandon, unable to read the room, stepped around the table with his face contorted in rage. "Dad, don't listen to this loser! He’s playing a prank! He probably printed those fake papers at a print shop this morning! Security, I said drag him out!"

"Shut up, Brandon!" Richard snapped sharply, glaring at his son.

Brandon blinked, completely stunned by his father’s sudden outburst. "Dad?!"

Julian stepped up the low stairs of the stage, his polished dress shoes making a firm, echoing sound against the wood. He bypassed Brandon entirely, as if the young heir were nothing more than an invisible speck of dust, and walked directly up to Patricia.

"Three years ago, Patricia," Julian said quietly, his voice carrying through the silent auditorium speakers, "I entered your house out of respect for Evelyn. You treated my silence as weakness. You treated my patience as stupidity. Last night, you threw my sister’s life into the dirt for fifty thousand dollars."

Patricia stumbled backward, her heels catching on the carpet as she hit the edge of her chair. "Julian... we're family... Evelyn is your wife"

"Evelyn was my wife," Julian corrected cleanly. He reached into his inner pocket and pulled out the crisp white divorce agreement Patricia had tossed into the mud the night before, now neatly smoothed and signed with Julian's elegant, sharp signature.

Julian dropped the document onto the podium right in front of her.

"The marriage is dissolved," Julian stated coldly. "And as for the Bradley Corporation's thirty-million-dollar default under Section 4 of your credit agreement, a failed merger attempt during active default triggers an immediate acceleration clause."

Julian turned to look at the room of shareholders.

"I am demanding full repayment of the thirty million dollars in cash by twelve o'clock noon today," Julian declared. "If the funds are not cleared, the Vance Global Syndicate will execute total asset foreclosure, liquidating the Bradley Corporation's property, holdings, and intellectual patents."

Panic erupted instantly among the board members. Several shareholders stood up, screaming at Patricia across the room.

"Patricia! What did you do?!"

"You told us the debt was under control!"

"Pay the loan or give up your chair!"

Evelyn sat paralyzed in her chair, tears spilling silently down her cheeks. She looked up at Julian the man who had patiently cooked her meals, washed her clothes, and quietly endured her mother’s cruelest insults without ever raising his voice. The realization hit her like a physical blow: he hadn't stayed because he was helpless. He had stayed because he cared for her. And now, that care was completely gone.

"Julian..." Evelyn choked out, her voice barely audible over the chaotic shouts of the crowd. "Please..."

Julian didn't look back at her. He turned his eyes toward Richard Sterling.

"Mr. Sterling," Julian said smoothly. "If the Sterling Real Estate Group wishes to inject thirty million dollars into this company to save them before noon, you are welcome to attempt it."

Richard looked at the screaming shareholders, then down at the financial summary on his tablet. Investing thirty million dollars into a company undergoing immediate liquidation was financial suicide. Richard closed his tablet with a hard click.

"The Sterling Real Estate Group withdraws its merger offer immediately," Richard announced coldly, ignoring Patricia’s desperate gasp. He turned to Brandon, grabbing his arm with a firm grip. "We're leaving, Brandon."

"Father! We can't let him do this!" Brandon protested, his face red with humiliation as he glared at Julian. "He struck me last night! He's just a delivery boy!"

"I said move!" Richard roared, dragging his son away from the stage as reporters swarmed around them, flashing cameras directly into Brandon's pale, embarrassed face.

A quiet, crystalline chime echoed in Julian's mind:

Mass Humiliation Executed: Bradley Corporation Board & Sterling Heirs.

Rebate Processed: Ten Million Dollars Added To Account.

Current Liquid Balance: $11,600,384.12.

Controlling Equity Option Unlocked: Bradley Tower Real Estate.

Julian stood at the center of the stage, towering over the collapsed form of Patricia Bradley, who was currently surrounded by panicked board members demanding her resignation.

Chairman Marcus Thorne stepped up beside Julian, leaning in respectfully. "The limousine is prepared for your return to the hospital, Mr. Vance. What are your instructions regarding Bradley Tower?"

Julian buttoned his suit jacket, turning his back on the chaotic stage.

"Give them until noon," Julian replied calmly. "Then buy the building."

Brandon stepped up beside him, wearing a dark navy jacket and a pristine white shirt, looking every bit the victim of an outrageous corporate crime. His left cheek was still slightly swollen, hidden under heavy foundation.A collective murmur rippled through the press corps as the father and son took their seats behind a row of branded microphones.Richard leaned forward, adjusting his tie before tapping the central microphone. Phone after phone line rang out unanswered. Every bank, private equity firm, and high-net-worth investor she had called over the past three hours had given her the exact same cold response: no one was willing to cross the Vance Global Syndicate."Mother, please stop calling," Evelyn said softly, sitting near the floor-to-ceiling windows. Her voice was completely drained of life. She stared out at the city below, watching the steady stream of traffic. "It's over. No one is going to lend us thirty million dollars in twenty minutes.""Shut up, E
