Clyde took a cab to the Omega Lorenzo Royalty company building. He knew what he had to do, but how to do it and get the best result was what he contemplated on.

'I think I should call Danielle, she will give me the best idea there is.' he thought as he took out his phone and dialed a number.

“Sir, do you need for anything?” Danielle's voice rang forth.

“Yes. I want take over the Omega Lorenzo Royalty company. Make it happen. Also replace Seth's father with one of our trusted person.” Clyde spoke in a serious authoritative tone.

“Hohohoho!” Danielle chuckled

“The young master is out for revenge. I love it. I will get it done in just an hour.” Danielle replied.

“Good, I will be waiting for your call in an hour then.” Clyde said and disconnected the call. He then walked over to the cafe nearby for a cup of coffee while he waits for Danielle's call.

He was in the cafe when he saw Seth's BMW pull up at the front parking lot. Then he saw Clarissa and Seth holding hands lovingly and walked right into the company building. Although Clyde was angry, but he was more excited than angry.

'The chess board is set and all the pieces are in place. It's now time for the first move. It's time to show you what real military strategy is.' Clyde thought to himself as he smiled and sipped the hot cup of coffee.

[AN HOUR LATER]

Ring!

“Boss, I just bought off the Omega Lorenzo Royalty from the Lorenzo family. Our new general manager should be at the company in a few minutes.” Danielle said.

“Good, good, good. First move has been made on the chess board. Let's see if I can take out the Queen in less than five moves.” Clyde muttered over the phone, but Danielle's laughter interrupted his train of thought.

“Sir, you don't need five moves to beat those two bums, you can do it all in three moves. I have a plan which I can also implement with the new general manager. It will guarantee a hundred percent gobsmack effect on those two.” Danielle replied with a giggle at the end. Her statement got Clyde interested.

“I'm all ears Dani.. let's hear your plan.” Clyde said with interest.

“Hehehehehehe.”

*

Clyde finished his cup of coffee same time as Danielle finished her plan.

He walked towards the company building. According to Danielle's plan, the new general manager had already told the security guards that he (Clyde) was the actual owner of the company now, and this made the security guards to not even check him as he walked into the building.

Clyde walked to the receptionist counter. He could see the outline of worry on the young lady's face.

“I'm here to see the new general manager. Mr Howard.” he spoke in a casual tone. The lady didn't care as it seems her worries had clouded her sense of loyalty to the company and the bosses.

“Why are you!?” a lady's voice came from behind Clyde. It was the voice of Clarissa; his ex wife.

'Right on cue.' Clyde thought to himself with a smile. He turned around to see Clarissa who had a grimace on her face while Seth was already fuming mad.

'Let's get this party cranked up.' Clyde could not wait to see the look on their face later on.

“Why? Don't I have the right to be here?” Clyde asked with feigned surprise.

“You absolutely do not have the right to be here. Who said you could return to work here!?” Clarissa said almost yelling. Clyde simply flashed a smile at her.

“Its surprising that you and I were married for a year, and now that the marriage is over, you treat me like I don't matter.” Clyde said with a tinge of sadness in his voice.

“Of course you don't matter. Leave this building and go back to the slums you belong before you infect his building with your pauper illness. You better leave before I call security.” Clarissa sneered. Clyde laughed a mirthless laughter. It was clear that he was hurt. He had spent a year with this woman and he had loved and cherished her for this one year, yet because of material things, she not only discarded him, but also now treats him as trash and a beggar.

'You've made your choice Clarissa, don't blame me for what happens next.'

“Sure, why don't you go ahead and call security. I'll be waiting right here.” Clyde said and sat down on cushion bedside him.

“I will get you thrown out!!” Seth began seething with rage.

“Security!!” Seth shouted and about four security guards rushed into the lobby.

“You called Sir.” one of them stepped forward.

“Yes. Throw this trash out of this building immediately!” Seth shouted.

“Hold it!” the voice of a tall bulky middle-aged man rang out from the top floor. Everyone stopped immediately, but then Seth stepped forward.

“Mister Howard, it's all this beggar's fault. He has already been fired from work, I don't know why he's here...” Seth was about to give the new general manager several reasons why he should not only kick Clyde out of the company building, but also tell the security guards to beat the living daylight out of him so he won't date step foot into the company building again. He just didn't expect Mister Howard to cut him off.

“Shut up!!" Mister Howard shouted at Seth, then turned towards Clyde.

“Young master Clyde. I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were coming. I would have come out personally to receive you.”

BOOM!

Clarissa's mind immediately flashed back to earlier the day after the signing of divorce papers. The statement made by that female actress.

“Certainly not, young lord. When you told me your wife sought to divorce you, I rushed towards here as soon as I could. I still can't believe your wife chose to divorce you without even knowing how wealthy you are. Does she know that you can actually buy that company she's working in? Heck! The entire Empire is yours, what's a company building! She chose to discard a blue diamond for trash!”

'First that woman, and now the new general manager.. don't tell me!!'

The clearing stood in stunned silence as the night wind stirred the pine needles and whistled between the barrels of drawn rifles. The woman named Valeria stepped forward, her boots crunching softly against the gravel of the compound path. Her coat fluttered behind her like the wings of some dark omen. Her expression was calm, surgical—eyes like steel, calculating everything and giving nothing away.Derick stepped to the forefront, his weapon unwavering. “Last chance. Identify your purpose or turn around. This isn’t a diplomatic mission.”Valeria’s lip curved ever so slightly. “Relax, Commander. If I wanted war, your perimeter would already be ash. I came to speak. Preferably before the next decision you make costs you your command.”Danielle emerged from the shadows of the main building, her steps brisk, gaze locked onto Valeria. She stood beside Derick, not out of allegiance—but necessity.“Valeria,” Danielle said, her voice low, laced with bitter recognition. “I thought you were a
