Ronnie Anne went back to visit Evelyn for a little chat. She had texted her, stating that she would be coming over, and Evelyn had been prepared.

Her eyes and ears—some goons of hers—had dug up quite some evidence that she would use to attack this wretched woman.

The younger woman had been a staff member of Pedro's restaurant, and since he was still wrapped tight around her fingers, she would only ask Pedro to fire her. Plus, there were other sources where this young woman fed on, and all Evelyn had to do was simply cut them off.

After all, there wasn't any human that could survive with no money, job, food and shelter in the expensive city of Ettavile.

That particular noon, she'd already asked Owen to excuse her, stating that she had a very important guest arriving and she wanted to get all of the privacy that she could get.

Since her husband would not return in a month' time, and Doris was already married, living with Nathan, Owen was always the only one who bothered her.
