Chapter 6:The shock

"WHAT"

"Dad, tell me this is a prank? It can't be real? Zachary is a broke guy? "The gobsmacked Blake refused to believe it.

Seeing Blake's destitute appearance, Zephyr sneered in disgust "a prank, I wish but it's not. I found out 2 years ago when I bumped into him, he was wearing the elk locket. The locket my brother's child was wearing when he got lost"

"That explains nothing, it could be he has his own or maybe he stole it? Can you prove anything with that?" 

    

"That locket is the only one in the world, you idiot. And do you think genes is a joke Just cause you are an illegitimate child, the DNA test proved Zachary is my brother's son"

" After all I have gone through to destroy my brother and his family, you bastard ruined everything "zephyr roared in anger as he smacked the lightheaded Blake.

Blake raged with fury and embarrassment but he couldn't show it as he was still counting on zephyr to survive " dad, what are we going to do now? "

" You are still asking that? I have already sent my spies to bribe the doctor in charge of the DNA test results but if that doesn't work, we might have to shift over to plan C"..zephyr frowned in anger.

(First city hospital)

A woman with extraordinary bearing calmly walked in. Her face looked soft and tender but her eyes revealed the maturity that came from age.

"Zane, where's he? "Mary said as she walked up quickly to him.

" Mom,are you here? Brother is still in, the doctors are collecting his blood sample".

" Really, that's great... mhm what's that doctor doing? "Mary's eyes gazed on a doctor who was currently behaving like a thief.

Zane's eyes quickly turned cold as the entire hallway descended into an icy hell "that sneaky doctor came out of the test room. He may have tampered with the samples"

" Jason, take care of it"Zane smiled coldly.

" Young master, the doctor has revealed that he was bribed by sir zephyr" Jason said as he came back. 

" Uncle is really well informed? He already has the news that Zachary had been found and even devised a plan for it! You have anything you want to tell me, Jason?"

" I have no excuses young master! As soon as we get back, I will go to the discipline room to get my punishment "

"No second time, Jason "Zane smiled as touched Jason but that smile totally freaked Jason out as cold sweat slide down his back.

" Well, is it time yet? I have something really important to do" Zachary impatiently sighed.

Today was the day that marina was going to announce their break-up, he had to ruin her stage. This DNA test was just wasting his time.

"It's out everybody" the old director said as he gave Zachary the flat file.

Zachary before wasn't bothered but seeing the tense expression in Zane and Mary's eyes, he took a deep breath "well, here goes nothing"

"Hmm, that... That's impossible? I am their child but how? I have parents? "Zachary muttered in confusion.

" Baby, I missed you so very very much? "Mary cried out as she embraced the bewildered Zachary.

Words cannot express how she felt to get this news. At that time she lost her husband, her grandfather and her son. Losing the three great men in her life made her weak but she couldn't even let out a tear as Zephyr was on her neck trying to subjugate her. She stood firm for her younger son, her mother and her daughter but now seeing Zachary she let go of the heavy burden she had been carrying and cried out .

Zachary at first wanted to push this strange lady away but her cries seemed genuine and he couldn't help but believe her to be a mother, her warmth felt like that of his dead Mom.

"It time for plan C" zephyr exclaimed angrily after the phone call plan C wasn't his ideal plan as it took too long to fully implement but now he got no choice.

"Eh! What's plan C" Blake asked with trepidation.

"My original plan was to kill him with his father but he escaped and managed to glee for 12 long years. That led to my second plan to replace him. If I can't kill him, how about I replace him with one of my people and get ZZ in a legal way". 

"So I bought the locket from the Anderson's who sold it at a pitiful price, the person I sent to get the face lift is already done but now he has been found plan B is compromised".

" Plan C is simple? Sleep with his wife, get her pregnant and make him the father? That way he would train your son as his successor and we wouldn't even need to do a thing "zephyr said viciously.

" And while you at it, tell that wife of his to feed him drugs that will make him impotent so no one will threaten the place of your son"

Blake felt a shiver on his groin as he looked at his smiling uncle " such a monster but he loved that plan, contained the right amount of both physical, mental and emotional torture"

" Dad,you have a great plan but the problem is I sent a video of my relationship with marina to Zachary, what if... "

" You bastard"a strong slap shifted Blake's face to the side " are you stupid? How could you do that? Let me tell you, if you can't even get this done, don't come back home or else be prepared for your punishment "zephyr roared indignantly. He has had enough of this trash for a son. If not for Blake being the son of his beloved, he wouldn't even spare him another glance.

Blake felt shivers down his spine as he recalled his 'special' treatment. Zephyr was a gentleman, only he knows what a psychopath his father was since young.

He had to be the perfect replacement for his cousin. Everything Zachary liked or hated had to be his own likes and dislikes. 

He was locked in the dark room, starved, beaten and even at some point lynched to the extent he developed a perverted sense of humour and fun.

"Yes father, I ... I will immediately get it done" Blake stammered.

"Great, now get out of my house and don't return without sufficient news" zephyr, already pissed off with Blake, didn't even give him a good face.

"Wow, we are so happy for you. You have finally gotten rid of that bad luck of a husband and you had even gotten the approval of ZZ conglomerate"

"Yes, I am so envious of you, please remember to introduce me to some fine young masters"

Feeling the envious glances and the faltering faces, Marina felt as if she were on cloud nine, when last she had felt this amount of reverence from her own family.

Her grandmother was looking at her with so much pride and her cousins were deadset envious of her... Cousins ha! Except that bitch as usual.

"Hey, Bella, aren't you happy? I finally don't need your man anymore, feel free to chase him, I won't be stingy anymore" Marina chuckled viciously.

" Thanks Marina, I intend to do such that but I don't think you should be concerned about my love life, why don't you worry about yourself, who knows whether your relationship with Blake is serious and not a one night stand".

 Bella replied with her signature smile.

The smile in Marina's face froze as murderous air surrounded her. That was her taboo topic and her family has avoided asking her that question but now this bitch... 

" this bitch, I will sew that mouth of yours shut with a needle"Marina cussed

Ring Ring Ring

The sound of a phone interrupted the awkward moment. Seeing the caller ID, a smile blossomed on Marina's face.

" It's Blake," Marina shyly said as she gazed at Bella mockingly.

" Well pick it up quickly, don't make him wait,"Marina's grandmother urged her.

" Okay, grandma"Marina smiled complacently and amidst the envious gazes of her, she picked the call and even put it on a loudspeaker.

"Mr. Blake, how are you? I was just about..."

"Marina, listen up, come to hotel 503 tonight? We can't wait? You need to quickly bear my child but announce it as Zachary's child" Blake said as he quickly hung up.
