Chapter two: Let's Divorce

Eyes turned to the source of the voice "Bella?"

Louis called out in surprise. 

"What a welcome, I thought you are going to stay a long time in the east? Why are you back so early?" Marina asked her cousin bella.

"Grandma wanted me back, apparently your branch has caused grave damage to the group".

Bella retorted back.

"Louis, are you sure you brushed?"

"Mhm, what are you asking?"

"Ah! I couldn't tell since your mouth is so smelly like you ate a cow dung. No matter how poor, Zachary is your sister's husband. Talking to him like that, have you got no respect".

" And you, Marina, You stood still watching them?"

"I have only been gone for a short while and this is what our prestigious family has fallen to, it's so shameful"

Every word from bella pierced marina right in the gut. "You bitch, I have always won you in everything,you must be gloating now I am in a fix, Right?"

Zachary didn't really blame marina, she is right after all, he really has no capital to speak in this family, the world respects the strong and right now, he is anything but that.

Zachary asked Bella whose face was 90% similar to Marina, the only difference was the eyes which seemed so familiar as if he had lived a decade with her.

"You remember me?" Bella asked with a hint of surprise and excitement in her voice.

"No, I can't remember any of you, but you really look familiar, you give me a really close feeling, so do you know me?".

"I know you, you are my cousin's husband, how else am I supposed to know you?".

"No, you know me more than that, I am sure".

"Why don't you find out yourself, our relationship, have this, is not much but I really am broke too" marina said as she handed $100 to Zachary.

Zachary glanced at bella in surprise before muttering"I don't need this, you can have it back".

" Marina, what is this I heard, you rejected Blake again? Are you crazy"a cup smashed beside Marina's feet.

"Grandma, I am married, how can I accept another man, let's look for another way, Blake isn't the only help we can get".

"you stupid girl, Blake is the son of the acting director of ZZ conglomerate. That's a hegemon in the business world, small companies like ours can't hold a candle to them. Even if he's just an illegitimate son, it's still more than enough to save us all"

" What!!! I thought he was the director of X-treme, how did he get related to the ZZ conglomerate?"the shocked Marina asked.

" Think about Blake's proposal, I will expecting your answer tomorrow or I may just replace you with bella, she isn't you but I don't think he will care".

"I will do it, I will accept Blake"Marina screamed.

Seeing this, grandma Anderson sneered in disgust " As expected, you couldn't overcome the competitive spirit inside you, see you tomorrow, Marina".

Marina sat in the bed and recalled her two years with Zachary " it was so fun and peaceful, how you would protect me from bullies, your warmth in the rainy days, your delicious meal, your funny stories".

" Zachary, though I didn't marry you because of love and I hurt you in so many ways, you still forgave me, you forgive me for this as well"Marina thought as she smiled at the picture.

(The next day)

"Mhm, what is that delicious scent? "Marina yawned as she woke up.

"Wake up, sleepy head, I made honey water and chocolate cake coated with strawberries,"Zachary said as he brought over a plate.

"You still remember bringing me honey water every morning, didn't you lose your memories?"

"I wrote all your likes and dislikes in my diary, I just looked through it, marina I want you to know that I care about you, you are my wife and that wouldn't change ".

"thank you so much, but we need to move to the sitting room quickly"marina said in guilt as she didn't even dare to make eye contact with Zachary".

" Marina, I hope you are ready, put on your best outfit"grandma Anderson said to marina over the dinner table".

"You were good, I hope we get to do this again sometime "Blake said as he handed her a check and some important business information.

" Marina scanned through the information, with this information she could save her family's group, the more she read she felt she Made the right choice "

Finally for the third time, Zachary decided to satisfy his curiosity and watch the video.

"Damn.... What is this?" You are lying, this is a fake video"

" Hello, who the hell are you, why are you pulling such a prank on me? You better explain yourself "

" Relax, Zachary, whether the video is fake or real, you should know better than me"Blake smirked evily.

He didn't know why but from the first day he met Zachary, he felt nothing but hate and a desire to take away everything from him.

"Shit, you bastard, Zachary cursed as he slammed his phone on the wall. Of course he knew the video was real but he really couldn't believe it. From the pictures he had seen in his room and his diary, he could really feel that he loved Marina and that she would love him too.He couldn't believe this at all.

"No, there must be a misunderstanding somewhere? Maybe he forced her" Zachary thought as he stormed over to the cooperation.

"why are you screaming in my place of work ? Marina scoffed at Zachary, the more she looked at him the more she felt that he was really useless compared to Blake .
