Marcus slowly stepped out of the shadows.

The five remaining guards didn't notice him at first because they were too focused on the sudden alarm that had drawn the other men outside. Victor was still standing beside Sophia, while James kept looking toward the entrance with a worried expression.

"What the hell is happening?" James asked.

Victor frowned. "I don't know. Go check—"

Before he could finish speaking, Marcus suddenly moved.
