The faint sounds of laughter and music spilling through the grand doors of the wedding hall were stopped by a man’s words.

Dressed in a normal attire, with no suit or a tie, he didn’t seem like he belonged to be walking on a carpeted floor covered in pink flower petals or be under the dazzling display of twinkling fairy lights and white drapery.

The people all had their eyes fixed on Denver, wondering who he was and what his issue was.

Whispers rippled through the crowd as tension thickened the air.

“Who the hell are you?” Peter Mason, the bulky old man with a bald head, stepped forward on the wedding stage and glared at Denver who wasn’t even holding any gift item in his hands. So, Denver appeared worthless in Peter’s eyes. “Do you even have the invitation card? Who let a bastard like you into the wedding hall?”

“No one needs to invite death,” Denver replied in a cold tone. “Some things in life don't require approval. A trashy wedding like this doesn’t need an invitation, either. Th

In the council grounds, competitions are taking place for the entertainment of the council members.Forty men are fighting against a big gorilla which brutally killed most of them. The council members, most of whom were mothers of rankers, thoroughly enjoyed the bloodshed. The men fighting in the arena were of all ages, from teens to the elderly.A different kind of thrill was experienced when these men were destroyed in different ways.Bodies getting bashed to the ground.Heads getting smashed to bits.Bets were placed on how a certain man would die.Natalia was also watching the event and remembered how she picked two members of her special slave squad from the people who survived fighting in the council’s arena. She had trained them well, but in the end, they all died pathetically.“I wanted to have my own little army like the king has his own personal royal knights,” Natalia thought. “I put so much effort in those five, and they did get a lot of things done for me, but if I knew t

  • CHAPTER 432

Serena returned to Golden Tower. All her teammates were unconscious, but they were still walking about because she was controlling their bodies down to muscular level.Serena stopped outside the tower because Lily was waiting for them.“You returned empty-handed?” Lily seemed disappointed. “I wasn’t expecting you to fail. If you had gone out of your way to fight them, you should have made sure you at least ruined one of their careers.”“I did damage Green Fang’s arm,” Sheryl responded. “As long as her ability doesn’t help her, her nerves won’t recover fully. She won’t be able to use her right arm well. Also, I inflicted some damage on Denver’s girlfriend. Denver himself seemed injured. His right arm wasn’t in a good condition.”“Then why do I smell him on you?” Lily asked. “Did you let him get a number on you? Did you underestimate him?”Serena’s brow drew together. “I wasn’t underestimating him. I was fully careful. He just broke through my psychic barrier. Honestly, I don’t think I

  • CHAPTER 431

It was Denver who had repelled Serena’s energy.Seeing Denver, Sheryl felt happy, but Serena frowned deeply because all her capable teammates were defeated.“It should have been impossible to redirect my attack through ordinary means. Did you use spiritual aura to repel my energy?”“Don’t answer her, Boss,” Sheryl said. “We’ll deal with her during the festival.”“Sister… “ Denver was looking at Serena. “Don’t call me sister,” Serena’s expression turned rigid. “We barely know each other.”“Still, I might have overlooked it if you attacked me, but you went after my people. You crossed the line not once but twice.” Denver stepped past Sheryl and released thick golden red lightning through his left fist before leaping at her. “Psychic Sphere!” Serena immediately used her greatest defensive technique.Denver’s fist shattered through the sphere and smashed her face, breaking her jaw and sending many teeth flying.Serena herself was thrown into the distance. Her eyes nearly turned white. (

  • CHAPTER 430

Serena was known for her spectacular defensive skills.Using sound and aura as barriers, she would make it extremely difficult for her opponents to deal damage to her.Even though Sheryl was not in her best condition, she wasn’t able to hurt Sheryl yet or make her bleed. However, Catherine’s first punch itself landed on Serena and sent her rolling down the ground.Serena bled from a corner of her mouth but was able to get back up relatively fast. She suffered a bruise on her cheek.“What the…” Catherine was quite surprised. “It felt like I hit a rock. My punch could shatter rocks, but she’s still fine.”“Hmph, you should be dead, but you’re still doing fine,” Serena wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth. “Since you survived the last encounter, you should have run away from Hawk Park. But your ignorance brought you here.”“I didn’t come here for you but for my man,” Catherine clarified and looked at Sheryl. “I thought Denver could handle a few mediocre women by himself, so I ca

Roasted pieces of what looked like a big seed husk was all Serena saw. “The hell is this?”Sheryl rose from within Serena’s shadow and went for the kill. “It’s the decoration for your grave!”Her knife-like hand thrust into Serena’s back.“Pyschic Sphere!” Serena flexed her back muscles and instantly created a sphere of energy around her which not only defended her from Sheryl’s attack but also repelled the attack back.Sheryl’s hand suffered tissue and nerve damage. She was forced back a few steps. “Tsk, a mix of psychic aura with sound,” she was disappointed with herself for missing a great chance. “That’s pretty dangerous.”Serena turned around and was upset to see Sheryl. “You survived that sonic blast? But it definitely looked like your body burst to pieces. How are you still in one piece? How did you do it?”“Why would I tell you my secrets?” Sheryl’s voice grew slightly thicker because of the pain flowing through her body. She kept releasing black gas out of her body, and her p

  • CHAPTER 428

As Denver was leaving the scene, Sheryl asked him, “Is it okay to leave without killing Tyron?”“He’ll make more of an example alive than dead,” Denver told her. “I see, but what if someone heals him completely?” Sheryl wondered. “He may not be able to get his limbs back, but he could still get artificial limbs. He’ll still be a threat.”“With the restrictions I put on his organs, I don’t think he’ll be a threat anytime soon,” Denver suggested. “Unless the king himself steps in for Tyron, I don’t see him being in the race anymore.”“Mm…” Sheryl then walked a different way.“Where are you headed?”“I’m going to get Birka’s ability,” Sheryl said, grinning. “It will support my forest ability quite nicely.”“Do you want me to come along?”“If you’d like to.”Denver then turned and accompanied her, which made her feel good.In half a minute, they found Birka’s body which had burned to a crisp. But she was still standing.Denver found it a bit difficult to watch.Sheryl put her hand on Bir
