The room paused, like it was holding its breath.Lorenzo had begun contemplating and questioning himself.Who was this lad? This could not be cowardly, apologetic seeming Marco he used to taunt. The man before him was not that boy. This person he was negotiating with who sounded very much like Marco could not be him.And now, he was saying they should talk while wielding whatever that was in his hand that seemed like a snipping tool for his tongue alone.Lorenzo was already choosing his next words carefully.“Just talk, no cutting?”“Only if you want.” Marco responded, coldly but his eyes were settled. He pitied the man.Wanted to reason with him as he felt the doctor had been tortured enough.“Where is Marco? The real Marco.”“What makes you think I'm not the real person?” Marco demanded.“I know Marco. He's a coward with no heart. You...you must be a very good impersonator who has embodied him. Is this his way of trying to make me cower?” Dr Lorenzo asked, intentionally adding a lau

She was not ready to hear anything Sergio had to say or witness anything else that was going to happen. As Sergio ran toward her, he kept calling her name, shouting it over and over, but she acted as if she wasn't the one being called. She was already fed up and did not want anything to do with him anymore.Sergio caught up with her several times, but she kept walking."Stop, Elena! Stop and do not piss me off. As you can see, none of this is your fault, and I'm not even mad. I don't know why you're this angry, because I should be the one offended here. I should be the one angry! So stop right there!" Sergio yelled at the top of his voice."Sergio, listen to me. You better stop following me, or else I'll scream and create a scene right here. Just leave me alone!" Elena shouted back."Oh, Elena, I know exactly what's on your mind and what you are planning to do, but guess what? I'm not letting you leave. It's obvious you

Such an old place...old memories...and even more older thoughts.“Marco... are you still on earth with us?” Antonio asked him suddenly.Marco chuckled.“You speak like you're here with us.”“I am here. Not in the flesh but as your conductor.” Antonio said, and both he and Marco started laughing.Marco, out loud...Antonio in his head as he smiled realising that ever since they had started communicating, this was the very first time they had a moment like this.Also...in the last few days, this was indeed the very first time he was having something that took control of his mind over all the chaos and disturbances.“Well, at least you don't share my fate.
