The glazed over eyes of the man, Ahmad, widened in surprise, “Son of a b*tch!” he cursed aloud.

The two of them separated and Victor helped him to his feet.

A bright smile spread across Ahmad’s face and he laughed, “Ahahahah, how are you still alive?! It seems the Heavens don't want me to live the rest of my life alone.”

He laughed louder with his hands on his waist.

Victor smiled, he had missed this guy’s jovial and happy-go-lucky attitude, “How are you not dead? And what happened to your eyes?”

Ahmad finally stopped laughing, an amiable smile spread across his face.

“Let’s go talk somewhere better”

His body whooshed towards the Federal Secretariat, Victor followed in a blur.

In less than two seconds, the two of them were standing on top of the 12 storey building, overlooking the entire area. Down the road from the Secretariat was a rundown mall, Victor could sense an oppressive presence there.
