Fiona and her friends sat at a table near the entrance so they could clearly see Gabriel and his 2 friends coming.
Gabriel realized Fiona’s presence there, but he acted as if he didn’t see her. Likewise with Louis and Joseph who acted indifferent. They made their way to an empty table. In their shock, Fiona and her friends looked at each other. “Hey, did you see him? Isn’t that Gabriel Bruhn?” exclaimed Penelope. “What are he and his nerd friends doing here?” Barbara chimed in as she frowned. Fiona shrugged her shoulders in disgust. “I don’t know what they’re doing here, but their presence has definitely changed the atmosphere.” Annoyance was clearly visible on her face. “I think he came here to show that he’s on par with Alexis,” Penelope guessed, and then they burst out into laughter. Fiona snorted. “Huh, keep dreaming!” Although located on campus, Premium Cafeteria carried the concept of a luxury restaurant. If a canteen usually has a self-service system, but in the Premium Cafeteria there were several waiters and waitresses who were ready to serve customers. A waitress rushed to Gabriel’s table while carrying a menu book. She gave 2 menu books for one table and let them choose the menu. Seeing this, Fiona interfered. “Hey, Amanda! What are you doing there?” She looked at the waitress named Amanda. Amanda’s gaze turned to Fiona. “I’m serving them, Miss. Do you need help?” she asked politely. Fiona shook her head. “No, but I just want to tell you to stay away from them. You better kick them out now or you’ll regret it!” Amanda looked puzzled. “But why, Miss? They are customers, and as a waitress, it is my duty to serve every customer.” A sly smile appeared on Fiona’s face. “Don’t you know who they are? They are known as campus broke boys. In all the years of working here, isn’t this the first time you’ve seen them come here? Do you think campus-broke boys like them can afford the food here?” she taunted. Amanda looked at Gabriel and his friends, and doubt appeared on her face. “You are right, Miss. I’ve never seen them before.” Gabriel’s eyes darkened with anger. He sighed, then spoke in a calm tone. “I hope you don’t easily believe that windbag,” Gabriel quipped. He glanced at Fiona as he continued his words. “By coming here, it means we can afford the food,” he stated in a firm tone. “That’s right, this is indeed our first time coming here. But that doesn’t mean we’re like what she said,” Joseph chimed in, supporting Gabriel. “I hope you work professionally and don’t discriminate against customers,” Louis hoped. Feeling that she didn’t get any support, Fiona turned to her friends. “Don’t be silent like a fool! Help me convince her to kick them out,” she commanded. Barbara and Penelope immediately raised their voices to support Fiona’s statement. “Amanda, do you just believe them? The man in the black shirt ruined Fiona’s birthday party on Saturday night. Trust us, he came here with the same purpose,” conveyed Barbara. “We just want to tell you before it’s too late,” Penelope added with a very convincing expression. This dispute attracted the attention of other customers. The atmosphere there became tense. “Amanda, what are you waiting for?” Fiona exclaimed. Affected by their words, Amanda hesitantly took the menu book that was on Gabriel’s table. When she was about to leave, suddenly a middle-aged woman who had just come stopped her. “I heard a commotion here. What’s going on?” asked Bertha, the owner of Premium Cafeteria. She was in her office room when she heard the commotion. A sly smile formed on Fiona's face as she confidently pointed at Gabriel. "Bertha, I'm telling Amanda that those 3 boys won't afford to eat here. They just came here to play around. I don't want her to waste her time, so I hope she kicks them out before it's too late," Fiona explained. Bertha's gaze shifted to Gabriel. She recognized Gabriel's face and remembered that he was the son of the late Nathan Bruhn. Considering Gabriel was the son of a cleaner, Bertha also had doubts if he could afford to eat here. Bertha approached Gabriel's table. She put on a sincere smile and tried not to hurt his feelings. "Aren't you the son of the late Nathan Bruhn?" Bertha asked politely. Gabriel was momentarily silent, then he nodded. Even though he had found his biological father, Nathan Bruhn was still his father. "Yes, Mam. I am Nathan Bruhn's son, Gabriel Bruhn." "The last time I met Nathan was about six years ago. After that, I was abroad and heard the news that he had passed away." There was sadness on her face as she spoke. “I saw you when you were still in high school. I still remember you, but I don’t think you remember me,” she continued. Gabriel let out a small chuckle. “Yes, Mam. I don’t remember but I think you are such a nice person.” Seeing the interaction between Gabriel and Bertha, Fiona’s temper escalated. This was not something what she expected. “Bertha, I warn you that he came here to mess up this place. He even showed up uninvited at my birthday party and messed it up. He is not a nice person,” Fiona spoke in a convincing tone. Affected by Fiona’s words, Bertha did not want to take any risks. Moreover, Fiona was a loyal customer of Premium Cafeteria, so her voice was more matters. Bertha’s gaze met Gabriel’s. “Excuse me young man, but it seems like you and your two friends should leave this place immediately,” she ordered in a polite tone. Gabriel shook his head. “Please listen to me, Mam. What she said is not true. My friends and I came here to eat. And we can pay, so there is no reason to kick us out,” he explained. “But Gabriel, we just don’t want any commotion here. So please get out of here,” Bertha pleaded. “If you want this commotion to end, why don’t you kick them out?” Gabriel asked while pointing at Fiona’s table. “They are the ones who have been making a commotion here, while my friends and I are just choosing the menu,” he continued in peeved expression. Fiona huffed. “Do you think a regular customer like me will be kicked out of this restaurant so easily? This is even your first time coming here but you are so haughty. I wonder what menu you ordered. Or maybe, you just ordered a glass of water?” she mocked followed by laughter from the people in the restaurant. Gabriel’s hands clenched tightly as his jaw tightened. He would not let Fiona continue to belittle him. With a smirk, he retorted. “Never mind the cheapest menu, but I can pay for all the food in this restaurant. I will pay all the bills from the customers here right now!”Latest Chapter

Jeremy stared at Gabriel as his lips parted slowly. A question came from his mouth.“Are you the one behind all of this? I just got a call from my manager, and she said the producer fired me from my movie project and will replace me with another actor. It all happened because I offended a figure,” he asked, his expression etched with a mix of surprise and disappointment.Gabriel remained stern. He didn’t respond to Jeremy’s question.Jeremy was still on the phone with his manager. She spoke, curious about who her boss was talking to.“Boss, who are you talking to?” she asked in concern.Jeremy spoke to her. “I’m talking to someone I suspect is the cause of all the problems I’ve been experiencing. Did the producer tell you who the figure I offended is?”She shook her head sadly, though her boss couldn’t see her gesture directly.“Unfortunately, no. I’ve tried asking him, but he refuses to tell me who the figure you had offended is,” she explained.“He just called 30 minutes ago, and I

I have no idea what you're talking about," Gabriel replied, showing his indifferent attitude."Don't act dumb, I know it's you!" Jeremy tried to touch Gabriel's shoulder, but Gabriel roughly slapped his hand away.As Gabriel took a step back, he warned him."Don't dare touch me! Who do you think you are? We don't even know personally," he exclaimed. This sight shocked the onlookers. Whispers spread through the air, wondering what Gabriel's relationship with the actor was."Fiona, look at his connection now! Besides having a

“Jeremy, can I have a picture with you, please?”“Jeremy, can you sign my book, please?”“Jeremy, please!”People handed him phones, books, and t-shirts, hoping he would take their picture and sign their stuff.Jeremy didn’t pay attention to them. He was busy scanning his surroundings, trying to find Gabriel. It was break time on campus, so everyone had spare time to come and see Jeremy Voronov.Meanwhile, Gabriel was in the Premium Cafeteria with his two best friends, Joseph and Louis.Gabriel wanted to share the happy news that he and Pevita had officially become a couple. Just as Gabriel opened his mouth and was about to speak, a group of women at the next table burst into loud conversation.“Hey, we can’t stay here and miss the moment! “Whether you accept it or not, insisting on remaining a customer at The Royal Ashton Bank would be useless for you since you wouldn’t be able to make any transactions. Your balance would simply freeze. I’m just conveying the truth, and the choice is yours,” he continued.Jeremy fell silent, narrowing his eyes, staring at the manager with an incredulous expression.“So the most important figure of this bank was the one who ordered this to me? But who is that figure? As a public figure, I’ve met many affluent figures, and I feel I’ve never offended anyone. This must be something wrong, or someone just slandered me!” Jeremy responded. She shook her head, dismissing his objection.“No, sir. No one is slandering you here; this is all purely your fault that you can no longer be a customer here.”“But who is he? Maybe I’ll try to persuade him; who knows, he might change his mind,” he asked in a hopeful tone.“I’m so sorry, sir. I can’t tell you who the figure is, since his privacy is everyth

Pevita's cheeks instantly blushed as she briefly averted her gaze from Gabriel, but seconds later she returned to him."You want to tell me what?" she responded.Gabriel gulped harshly as nervousness washed over him. He took a breath, then spoke in a calm voice."Pevita, I know this must sound ridiculous, but I think I feel something about you, more than just being friends. I have special feelings for you… I like you."His revelation left Pevita surprised. She covered her open mouth with her palm."Are you serious about that?" she responded as her eyes widened.Gabriel nodded, his face flushed. "Yes, I really like you."Pevita tucked her hair behind her ear as she smiled. Silence interrupted their conversation for a moment, Pevita looking nervous to speak."Gabriel, I'm really glad you told me this. I also have special feelings for you, and I hope we can be together," she said after a moment of silence.A smile flashed across Gabriel's face. He opened the ring box, gently took Pevita'

Gabriel entered the PIN code from his card, and in just seconds, the transaction was successful.“This transaction has been successful!”Everyone gasped, their gazes on Gabriel filled with awe and wonder. The owner held Gabriel's card, she wanted to examine it more, but Gabriel immediately snatched it away.“I’m done with this transaction. This ring is officially mine!” he declared in a firm tone.Jeremy fell silent, temper raging inside him. He couldn’t believe someone he considered less could actually buy a ring worth one million dollars. He stared at Gabriel as he began to think that Gabriel might not be an ordinary person.“But who is he actually? He must be more than an ordinary university student,” Jeremy spoke to himself. The owner’s attitude toward Gabriel suddenly changed. She was no longer unfriendly to him, but instead, she became very attentive. She took over the saleslady’s duties of wrapping the ring Gabriel had purchased.
