The men shifted uncomfortably and even looked away except Zane who I was addressing.
“Like I said, he just seemed to vanish,” Zane repeated. “We could've told where he went to.”
I was burning with rage and this is just how I've been for days now, at least ever since my father saw the need to recruit Silas Scratch!
“How possible is it to lose a full-grown man in broad daylight?!” I asked angrily. “You had one job! Your job was to closely follow this Scratch guy, and know what he's up to! I need to know what he's planning with father!”
