Chapter 30

As soon as the cold breeze hit Alex face, he closed his eyes and relished in the cool night breeze. He felt so achieved and fulfilled and a wide smile spread across his lips. He sighed and proceeded to walk to his car. The day has been hectic and he had been working all day, he needed rest and he was going to get it. The chef made dishes for him before he returned from work but he was unable to eat it because he was rushing out to the club, he was starving and the alcohol were beginning to hurt his stomach. He was just thinking about grabbing a drive thru when his phone rang.

He smiled as he saw the caller. It was Albert. He had missed the old man especially his tired look every time he had to deal with him. He picked the call.

“Hey old man!” he said as soon as he picked the call.

“Hi Alex. How are you doing?” he asked with his usual politeness.

“I’m very well…..never felt so alive. You miss me?” Alex asked, jokingly.

“Maybe” Albert replied coldly and Alex chuckled.
