The Rise of Sean Wolfe: The Rejected Son.

Chapter 1.

"Dad, I couldn't, the Rual and Quinn Group refused to help us. "

Strolling down a lone street of Skyhaven, on a chilly evening, Sean called his father.

His father broke down, "We are done, Sean. Stark Group is finished. Without funding we have lost our company.

Raul and Quinn Group were our last hope. "

"I'm sorry Dad. Don't worry, I would do everything to get us back in track,

I promise you, Dad. " Sean said.

After the call, Sean let out a disappointing sigh.

His father's company is suffering from a huge bankruptcy after a criminal incident that have cause all the investors to withdraw their shares.

Now, all they need is good funding to get back to track, but nobody is willing to help them.

He was deeply saddened by the company's situation. He wish he could do something.

But all hope seems lost.

"Please! Please! Don't kill me, I will give you anything you want. "

On his way home, walking quietly on a street, suddenly he heard a voice coming from his right.

Thinking he was hallucinating, suddenly through a small space in a thick bush, he caught sight of two masked men laughing at an old man with glittering knives and daggers in their hands.

Fear gripped him.

"What's going on there? "

It's night and dark. Out of fear, he wanted to leave.

"No, let me find out what's going on. "

When he heard the voice of the old man begging again, he said to himself as he summons courage and walk quietly into the bush.

"What! Lord Wolfe? "

When he got closer and saw the face of the old man, his lips gapped.

It's Lord Wolfe, the wealthiest, powerful and feared man in Iron's landing and the whole country.

He's the ruler of Wolfe Empire, the most powerful business empire in the continent.

Just this evening, he was declared missing in Iron's landing.

"What is going on, what is Lord Roderick Wolfe doing in Skyhaven, and who are this guys? "

He muttered with utmost shock.

"Please, who are you people? " Asked Lord Wolfe, his face composed.

"Your nightmare! " The leader of the gang chuckled.

"Do you know how long it took us to finally capture you?

Eight good years, hahaha! " They all laughed.

"You are really a tough man, Lord Wolfe. "

Sean's lips parted. It was dawn on him that the great man have just been kidnapped.

"What do you want from me? " Lord Wolfe, voiced.

"Your life! " The leader of the gang said with deep sinister voice.

You have ruled Iron's landing and the Wolfe Empire enough. Your time is up. "

"Who sent you guys!? "

"Sorry, we can't tell you Lord Wolfe. "

"I can give you more than what you were given, just let me go. "

"Oh really, hahaha!! "

The gang all burst into laughter.

"Unfortunately Lord Wolfe, we don't want anything from you. All we want is your life.

Today, you must die! " The leader uttered.

"My God, they are going to kill him. " Sean panicked.

Although Lord Wolfe is a ruthless ruler, he has a good heart too and lots of people love him.

"I have to save him. "

He thought and glared at the gang.

The leader stretched his dagger to Lord Wolfe's neck.

"Say your last prayers, Lord Wolfe. "

Immediately he said, he swung his dagger towards his neck, wanting to slit his throat.

On his knees, Lord Wolfe wrench in fear as he saw death. He never thought a day would come when he would be killed like a rat.

He closed his eyes as he waited for it to happen.

Surprisingly, death never came.

He opened his eyes and to his surprise, he found the dagger on the ground and the leader on his knees, wrenching in pain.

When he looked up. he saw a young vibrant looking man standing in front of him.

"Who is he? " He wondered.

It was Sean. He stood fearless in front of the gang.

"Don't you lay your hands on Lord Wolfe!"

His face was fierce towards the gang who looked at him with astonishment.

Smiles vanished from their faces.

"Who the hell are you? Have you come to die with Lord Wolfe?! "

They all charge their knifes and dagger at Sean with vicious smiles on their face.

With pain and anger, the leader stood back up and glared at him;

"You dog! How dare you lay your hands on me? Do you have a death wish? Huh! "

"I should be asking you that. How dare you touch the all powerful Lord Roderick Wolfe,

Do you know what kind of trouble you guys are about to get yourself into. "

Sean furrowed at him.

The leader giggled. Seconds after, he struck a dangerous glare at Sean;

"You fool! This is a very bad time to be a hero because Lord Wolfe is not leaving this place alive.

If you don't want to die with him, leave here now! "

"No! I'm not leaving here without him."

Lord Wolfe was stunned by the brave man who had sacrifice his life to save him.

However he was afraid for him too.

"Boy, I think you should listen to them. They are dangerous, they will kill you. Please, you must go. "

"No, Lord Wolfe, I won't let a powerful man like you die like a fowl in the middle of nowhere. If anyone should leave this place, it's this bunch of riffraff. "

The gang were offended.

Lord Roderick was astonished by his guts.

"You fool, you can be tall and muscular, but there are four of us and weapons that can make you bleed.

If you dare me, I'll not hesitate to cut you to pieces and sell your meat to my hungry dogs. "

The leader creased an eyebrow.

Truly Sean is a tall and muscular young man. That was why he had the confidence to confront these men.

He felt he could take them down.

However, things took a quick turn as the leader suddenly pulled out a pistol from is pocket and flash it on Sean's face.

Immediately, the whole gang did same.

Fear instant grip Sean. He did not know they had guns.
