Mathew sat in the interrogation room all alone. He was almost kidnapped from his school, brought to the police station and thrown into the room. And for about an hour, he had been sitting there, all alone. No one came to see him. They did not even give him a drop of water to drink. They were surely treating him like a wanted criminal. Wanted for something much worse than beating the shit out of your love rival.

And on top of everything, somehow, he had started to feel cold. When he entered the room, it was somewhat warm. But as time passed, the temperature in the room dropped continuously. So much so that he was almost shivering in his boots right now.

It was a psychological thing. A tactic used by the police to intimidate and play with the psyche of the felon. Mathew was not new to it. Not that he had faced it before.
