Chapter Thirty Three

Ethan arrived at the venue, he stepped out of the cab “Keep the change” he said as he handed over the fee to the cab man, who slightly bowed at him and drove off.

Ethan turned to walk inside the venue when he suddenly noticed Mason, he had his back resting on a car and was about to light a cigar, he thought he might have stayed behind, perhaps he wanted to humiliate him.

He thought about going through his plans as he had made with Demi, he had a strong temptation to retaliate on everything Mason had done and humiliate him just like he had done to him severally, he would love it so much to bring him on his knees while he begs him to save him, Ethan sighed instead decided to take a different approach probably giving him a benefit of doubts.

Walking past Mason, Ethan maintained a stoic demeanor, ignoring the insults and provocations. However, just as he passed by, Mason put his legs on the road, causing Ethan to stumble. He was only able to balance his stance before falling on the floor
