32. The Axe Gang
Floyd was relieved when he saw that Minerva was really okay. She was still unconscious because of the smoke she inhaled. That was why he couldn’t call her anymore. She lost consciousness while talking with her.

Floyd was seated on a couch facing Minerva’s bed. He never removed his eyes from Minerva when they arrived in the room. Jude’s phone suddenly rang and he answered it. It was Johnson Lim.

“Okay, master.” Jude went to Floyd’s side and bowed while giving the phone to him. “Young master. Your father wanted to talk with you.”

Floyd came back to his senses. He was busy thinking about the fire. Though Minerva was okay now and they never heard any casualties. He still cannot stop worrying. He took a deep breath and got the phone from Jude’s hand.

“Father.”

“Floyd, my son. How are you?” Johnson Lim asked in a low voice. He was about to sleep when he heard about the news.

“I’m… I-I’m okay, Father. You don’t have to worry about me. I was not at the scene when the fire happened.
