I'm Back For Revenge

A man was seen busy washing the feet of his mother-in-law and his wife who were sitting on the sofa. The man did his job very carefully because he didn't want to make the slightest mistake, he was Arly, the loser son-in-law of the Bishop family.

"After you finish washing Shea's feet, get me a glass of wine and a snack!" Mandy ordered with a cynical look.

Mandy and her husband wanted a rich son-in-law to support their careers, but a loser son-in-law who didn't know himself was what they got, it was so sad. Arly's presence in this family embarrassed the Bishop family's name outside.

"Okay," said Arly while wiping Shea's feet with a small white cloth.

"Throw away the basin used for washing water too," said Shea in a flat voice.

"Shea, your fate is very unfortunate because you have a useless loser husband like this," said Mandy while staring at Arly with hatred.

"If it weren't for Grandpa, how could Shea want to marry him." The woman spoke while busy looking at her cellphone.

Shea was the most beautiful woman in town, many men wanted her, but Shea married an unemployed loser who could only clean houses, no different from a maid.

Arly married Shea because of an arranged marriage. To repay Arly's kindness for saving his life, Cole married Arly to his youngest grandson even though the Bishop family did not agree, but not long after the marriage took place Cole died. Arly's condition at that time was similar to a bum picked up by Cole from the side of the road, looking sad and useless.

"Hey ... get me a glass of avocado juice and also potato chips!" Alena ordered Arly as she walked towards the sofa then joined the other two women who were her mother and sister.

"I'll bring it right away," said Arly obediently because she was a work-at-home husband.

"What was my husband thinking that he brought home a man like him to be his son-in-law." Fally walked with one hand carrying a stick. The glint in his eyes when he looked at Arly seemed to show great hatred there.

"Why are you still here? Quickly bring what we asked for!" Mandy ordered with her eyes wide open. Mandy felt very disgusted when she saw such a useless man in front of her eyes.

“Okay.” Arly answered obediently. Arly often received verbal and physical insults every day. Arly could only pretend not to hear anything even though the pain was felt there.

“Look at that loser walking away like a puppy carrying out his master’s orders.” Alena spoke while laughing out loud.

The laughter of the four classy women accompanied Arly's steps. Arly tightly held the basin used to wash the feet of her mother-in-law and wife with a heart that was cut in pain.

Arly could not complain or argue because her existence in this house was the same as a servant, for three years of marriage to Shea, during that time Arly was treated badly in the Bishop family. Arly and Shea's marriage was only registered in the state, and they never felt a relationship like husband and wife because Shea kept her distance from Arly, even for the past three years Arly had to sleep on the cold floor while Shea slept on a comfortable bed. However, in the past year Shea was kind enough to buy a floor mattress so that Arly would not be too cold, because Shea's small kindness made Arly stay in the Bishop house.

Everyone in the Bishop house always called Arly's name when they needed help, for example ironing clothes, cleaning the bathroom, washing feet, mowing the grass and there were still many jobs in the Bishop house that Arly had to do alone. Arly couldn't complain because it was her job in this house for three years, she was used to everything, being looked down upon and considered like trash was a daily insult that Arly always heard.

The four women who had different auras stared at Arly who was now approaching with a tray. Arly put the contents of the tray very carefully on the table. However, Alena deliberately nudged Arly's hand causing the contents of the glass to spill onto Mandy's clothes.

"Sorry, I accidentally dropped ....," before Arly finished speaking the sound of a loud slap echoed in the living room of this house.

Alena and Fally were happy when they saw the useless man getting punished, while Shea still showed a blank face with thoughts of who knows.

"You shameless son-in-law, useless son-in-law, do your hands no longer function until you spill your drink on my clothes?" Mandy screamed loudly until the muscles in her neck burst out.

Arly's two hands were clenched tightly, he couldn't vent his anger. There was no one to blame but himself, who told him to be an unemployed husband, and what was worse was that Arly fell in love with Shea even though he knew that his wife never wanted him, but Shea never spoke harshly like the other Bishop family.

"Shea, just divorce a useless loser like him," Mandy shouted while glaring at Arly.

"It wasn't Arly's fault. Alena intentionally nudged Arly's arm causing the drink to fall." Shea had seen what Alena did and she tried to make Mandy understand that it wasn't Arly's fault. Shea didn't even answer Mandy's previous statement.

"You like him Shea," Alena accused with a look of displeasure.

"No, I'm just being honest," Shea rebutted casually.

The grandmother who had been silent all this time began to speak up and made everyone's attention turn to her.

"Shea, you still haven't answered Mandy's statement about the divorce," Fally said with a questioning look.

Arly could only remain silent while staring at Shea. He loved Shea so much and hoped that his wife would not agree with the family's decision, but the next second Arly lowered his head thinking that Shea would definitely leave a useless husband like him, Shea was beautiful and could find a husband who was much better than him.

"For the past three years, Arly has never made Shea hungry. Even when I was working overtime at the office, Arly brought me food in the middle of the night, she took very good care of me, Arly did not work, but she was in charge of cleaning the whole house alone for three years and never complained at all." Shea spoke firmly while looking at everyone.

Arly's head was raised, he did not expect Shea to speak like that, all this time Arly thought Shea hated him so much, but the reality did not seem to be in line with Arly's thoughts all this time.

"I agree with Shea's opinion," said Gabe who was Shea's biological father.

Everyone in the living room frowned in confusion at Gabe's words, everyone knew that Gabe had always wanted to match Shea with a rich man, but what made Gabe change his mind in the blink of an eye, there must be something wrong.

"What did you just say, Gabe." Fally spoke with a clenched jaw.

"Dad's lawyer just told me that Arly will inherit the family fortune." After speaking, Gabe stared at Arly sharply.
