Chapter 2

One week passed after the incident. A better Kenric now stepped out of the hospital with the man who had finally helped him when he almost died falling into the ravine.

"Sorry, I had to take you out early because you know about my profession. I can't be seen in public any longer because I'm still on duty," said the man, who was currently walking hand in hand with Kenric.

Kenric adjusted his hat. "No, you can't apologize. I'm the one who should be thanking you for helping me and hiding me for the past few days," he said as he walked down to hide his face.

And after they got into the car of the person who saved Kenric, Kenric immediately took off his hat because it pressed the bandage on his head and made him feel uncomfortable.

"Well, now where are you going or what?" asked Baka, the man who had saved Kenric.

Kenric was silent when he heard Alex's words. 'It's not his fault if he tells me to go, but right now I don't know where I'm going, and there's no way I'm going back to that house,' Kenric thought.

"Hahaha!" Suddenly, a crisp laugh escaped Baka's lips. The man who had a scratch on his face drove his car away from that place. "What's with that expression on your face? Don't be afraid, I won't kick you out," he said, now looking more relaxed.

Kenric immediately turned his head. "Are you sure?"

"Of course, as long as ...," Baka replied floatingly.

"But?" Kenric furrowed his brow.

"I used to have an adopted brother about your age, but one month ago he had an accident on a mission. And the thing is, I had already recommended him to be a bodyguard at my workplace.

If I don't bring someone to replace him, then I'll be considered negligent and possibly a fraud," Baka said.

Kenric, who understood the meaning of Baka's words, immediately nodded. "Okay, I'll take your foster brother's place."

"Good," said Baka with a big smile. "Don't worry, your job will be to watch over the granddaughter of the person I'm currently guarding."

Kenric then said, "Then you can tell me the name of your foster brother and when we will start this job."

"If you're ready, we can go there today," Baka replied.

Kenric frowned at the casual answer.

"Don't worry, I've already told the person who hired me that you just had an accident, so you're just coming there to introduce yourself," Baka added.

"It seems like you were pretty sure from the start that I would accept this job," Kenric commented, chuckling.

"Of course. I checked your identity anyway. It's a pity that your military training and martial arts skills weren't used," Baka squeaked. "I believe that you are not as weak and stupid as reported." He added this while glancing at Kenric.

A sardonic smile appeared on Kenric's thin lips. "Yes, I thought that by being stupid and useless, I could enjoy everything without having to play much drama. But in the end, I was still targeted and ended up like this. The brainless beast."

"So the information I got wasn't wrong, right?"

"Yes. I've had military training for two years, and I've also mastered two types of martial arts. I've also mastered the basic assembly of firearms," Kenric replied.

"Not basic, but professional," Baka replied.

Kenric let out a long sigh.

"You are Space-X, aren't you?" Baka asked once again. "If it wasn't for you giving me your chips that time, then I wouldn't have known you were Space-X either. The mysterious person who has been missing for the past few months."

"Hahaha!" Kenric laughed loudly. "I almost suspected you, but it was all because of my own carelessness."

"It's great to get to know and work with a great person like you," Baka said as he continued to concentrate on the road.

"I'm not as great as you say, it's all by chance that I became a mysterious famous person. I have a lot to learn from you," Kenric replied. "So tell me, what is my name now?"

"I haven't told the great lord about my brother, and he also prefers to see him in person, so you can use any name you like," Baka replied lightly.

Kenric paused for a few moments to think of an appropriate name. "What about Osbert?" he asked.

"Your last name?" asked Baka as he once again glanced at Kenric. "Isn't your full name Kenric Osbert? Are you sure you want to use this name?"

"Well, of course. What's close to dangerous is the safest to hide under," Kenric replied casually.

Baka let out a long sigh. "You're actually quite similar."

"Hem..." Kenric muttered.

"You and my late foster brother, Gee, have almost the same physical features, height 185, brown eyes, age 25, only his face is not as attractive as yours. Even if you think about it, your characters are also similar. If I didn't know Gee's family, I would probably think you were separate brothers," Baka said as he continued to stare at the road they were traveling on.

"Then, do you want to have another brother? Or maybe you want to adopt me too, I don't have anyone right now," Kenric said while leaning his back more casually.

"Are you trying to apply?"

"I volunteered," Kenric replied.

"But being my brother means you have to treat me every time we get paid," Baka joked.

"Deal," Kenric replied quickly.

"Hahaha!" Baka's laughter echoed.

An hour passed. As they had planned, Kenric and Baka had now arrived at a classic Japanese-style house with an area commensurate with a luxury villa, as well as the interior.

"Is this the one that will escort Naomi?" asked a stocky 70-year-old man as he casually watered the orchids and peonies in front of him.

"That's right, Mr. Harvey. He is the Osbert I told you about last time," Baka replied politely.

The man whose hair was already completely gray also glanced at Kenric. "Osbert?"

"That's right, great sir," Baka replied.

Mr. Harvey returned his gaze to his beloved flowers. "Alright then, tell him to pick up Naomi at the hotel now."

"Yes, sir," said Baka.

"Thank you, Great Master," said Kenric.

Then Mr. Harvey waved his hand, signaling Baka and Kenric to leave the place.

After half an hour, Kenric, who was already wearing a neat suit, entered the hotel where Mr. Harvey's granddaughter was attending the party. He also asked several people, finally arriving at a hallway in a row of hotel rooms where Naomi was currently.

"She's Naomi," Kenric thought while observing the 20-year-old girl wearing a black dress with an open back. The white skin of the Japanese-Canadian half-breed contrasted sharply with the color of her dress, making her look even sexier even from behind.

"But what is she doing?" muttered Kenric as he stepped towards the girl, who was currently playing with her cell phone while occasionally looking at the other end of the hallway.

"Is she watching someone?" thought Kenric, who was now standing right behind Naomi.

"Miss Naomi," Kenric called out.

Naomi quickly turned around. "Wow, you're so tall," she said while raising her head because she was only at Kenric's shoulder height.

"Heh?" Kenric wrinkled his forehead.

"Is something wrong, miss Na—" Kenric's sentence was interrupted when Naomi suddenly pulled his hand into the room near them.

"Miss, I'm here to..." Again, Kenric's sentence was interrupted when Naomi suddenly took off her dress and left only her underwear.

"Miss, you seem to have misunderstood," said Kenric, who was now swallowing his saliva at the tempting thing.

"Don't talk so much, hurry up and take off your clothes!" Naomi ordered it as she walked over to the bed and ruffled it.

"What does this mean, Miss?" Kenric was getting more and more confused with what was happening.

"Already, just follow my orders," Naomi said while throwing her own dress on the floor.

"Huh?" Kenric was even more confused when Naomi suddenly pushed his body onto the bed and helped him remove his clothes.

"Take this one off yourself," Naomi said as she pointed to Kenric's belt.

There was no doubt that his desire to be a normal man was provoked by this, but he was not so crazy that he had to mess up his work on his first day of work. "Miss, you must be mistaken."

"I'll do it," Naomi grumbled as she undid Kenric's belt, even quickly lowering Kenric's zipper.

"This woman is really dangerous," Kenric thought as he rounded his eyes.

"Miss, I'm-" Kenric's sentence was cut off when Naomi suddenly kissed his lips.

And ....

Brak! The door to the room was rudely opened.

"Huh?" Kenric tried to get up from his current position, but Naomi pushed him back.

"Naomi!"

"Shut up, or I'll smash your bandaged head," threatened Naomi, who was currently still on top of Kenric's body.

The man who had just entered the room also stepped toward Naomi. "Naomi, you guys-"

"Are you here to see the rest?" said Naomi while lowering her body towards Kenric's chest.

"Tell me who he is!" shouted the man who had just entered the room.

"Miss, ishh...," Kenric hissed as he was about to speak, and suddenly Naomi pinched his stomach.

Then Naomi calmly turned to the man. "Of course he is ....
