Gerald was a bit taken aback by this man's aura, refined yet a bit oppressive due to somewhat overbearing confidence that is backed up by his position and the power it gives to his status.

As he shook the man's hand firmly, he could have sworn that he felt a jolt of warmth flow into his arm, causing him to almost break a sweat. Gerald realized that this is what having money, power, and status does to someone. It elevates them to a higher level of consciousness, making them radiate a special kind of aura.

As fictional as it sounded, Gerald began to grow a hunger for this kind of aura. He now understood how these three things affect someone energetically, and he found himself desiring to shine just like President Delorean.

Luckily for him, this was well within reach; he is a member of Arnold's family after all.
