Gerald could see the disdain in the eyes of this group of Archeologists and Antiquarians, and those fazes were all directed at Juliet's father.

Julian cleared his throat.

“Hello to you too, Professor Thyme. I can answer my daughter's friend with my mouth, okay? I don't need you to talk about me to them, not while I'm fully able-bodied.”

The silver-robed man with the Archeologist insignia is Daniel Thyme, a second-rank member of this institute. As for the other four, it was clear that they were all third-rank members.

Gerald and Juliet glanced at each other. They both could sense the slight hostility in the air between Juliet's father and these people.

One of the third-rank archeologists spoke with a condescending tone.

“Oh, why do you have a problem with Professor Daniel Thyme answering the young man for you? Are you scared that your utterly disgraceful act will come to light?”
