It was evening in Abes prison.

A young man in an orange prison uniform was led to a large cell by three security guards. He walked with calm confidence, and the guards did not bother correcting his attitude the way they normally would.

The prison door was opened, and he stepped inside without being told.

"You can ask them which bunk is empty and stay there," one of the guards said before leaving.

Two people inside the cell looked at him.

"What? Never seen a new inmate before?" the young man ask

It sounded too good to be real. Receiving a spiritual imprint? It was basically placing a harmless tracker on your body that would always reveal your location. And it wasn’t impossible to remove either. It only required time and resources, depending on who the imprinter was.“Alright, I accept.” A rough-looking middle-aged man was the first to agree.Others followed immediately. They had nothing to lose, so risking it was their only option. As long as they could get away from here, they could worry about other things later. What was the point of worrying about a spiritual imprint when they could simply escape to the supernatural organization and report everything? To these people, the masked men seemed a little stupid. The tall masked man in the lead began drawing strange runes. Nobody present could recognize what he was creating, even though many of them were experienced individuals who had seen a lot in life.He divided the runes into ten portions and sent them to the first ten peop

In the underground of Abes prison.A vast hall stretched into view, its ceiling lost in dim shadows. Strange artifacts were spread throughout the chamber, each one binding a prisoner in place. The entire hall was filled with them. The artifacts resembled machines more than restraints, complex and ominous in design. Thick black metal frames wrapped around the prisoners’ bodies, locking their limbs in place while faint runic patterns pulsed across their surfaces.Black-robed men moved around the facility like silent wardens of suffering. From time to time, one of them would stop beside a prisoner and begin torturing them with a strange rod crackling with violent electricity.Just looking at it was enough to imagine the horrifying voltage it unleashed. Whenever the rod touched flesh, the air filled with the smell of burnt skin and the prisoner’s screams echoed across the hall. The rod was not their only tool.Other torture artifacts hung nearby, including long whips made from shimmering

"Yes." The warden nodded."How come the government and the supernatural organization are not aware?" he asked with a frown."Well, they are not aware because, obviously, if they were, you would have been discovered. They made sure not to show themselves and rarely come out from underground. I think they also have a secret exit or something. Also, the person who built this prison was a president when he built it.And he's the one who runs this place. We are all under an oath never to reveal it.""An oath? But you told me now and nothing happened." He frowned."Most probably we were tricked. Actually, I think they used a type of illusion ability. Every time we thought about it, we would see ourselves being tortured and brutally killed, and our families were included as well. According to them, if we betray them, they will know immediately, capture us, and torture us along with our families. The illusion acts like a warning trigger. Anytime we think about giving out the information or wa

He was a very muscular man who climbed down from his bed and loomed closer."I don't answer stupid questions," the young man replied matter-of-factly."You punk. You just got here and already don't know your place?" the man growled."Hei, handsome boy," a rough-looking middle-aged man called out. "I get it. You're new and your blood is hot. But Abes prison isn't the normal world. If you're

The mayor of Kukuphindu announced that he would be visiting the Abes prison today to make some donations. The warden, the deputy wardens, and the chief of security were all delighted the moment they heard the word donations.“Hehehe, I promised my wife I would buy her a car as a birthday gift. Her birthday is getting closer, and I still haven’t seen the money to fulfill that promise. Now I’m sure I’ll be able to buy the car I promised,” one of the four deputy wardens said to his partner.“Hush. You don’t want to start announcing to the prisoners what we’re going to do with the money, do you?” his partner replied harshly.“Of course not. Besides, it’s not as if they can do anything even if they hear it. Everyone here has at least twenty years on their head, and many of them are serving life imprisonment. Relax.” He patted the other deputy warden.“I’ve already told you my piece. The mayor is coming, so let’s go and receive him.”The prison wardens waited as a boat pulled up to the isla

“Are these all the survivors?” she asked Gilbert.“Yes. The missiles killed most of them,” he replied.“And the weapons? I hope the warehouses where they’re stored weren’t hit.”“No. We made sure to avoid them.”She gave a slight nod before shifting her gaze to the remaining members of the Bolas terrorist group. In a single day, a terrorist organization that had terrorized this region for years and even sponsored The freedom fighters had been completely wiped out.“You.” She pointed at Laurent.“Yes.” He straightened instinctively.“You’re the leader, correct? We both know you weren’t operating alone. Tell me who sponsored you.”She did not waste time skirting the issue.“There’s no need to hide it,” Laurent said evenly. “We were originally sponsored by the Grandels, but they’re gone now. After their fall, I became the absolute leader. We stopped taking orders. Instead of rebuilding from scratch, we continued from where the Grandels left off.”“The Grandels?” She frowned faintly. “Wha
