CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE

The sound of the high-paced music playing inside the club reverberated in his ears, and for a moment, he almost thought of dancing.

He had completely forgotten what it meant to have fun, fueled by rage and the desire to make his enemies pay.

There were so many foes that he had to deal with, and he didn’t know how long it was going to take for him to be done with them, but he was certain that he was going to make all of them pay.

Finally, he was inside the club.

He got in through the back door, ignoring the couples he saw either making out or attempting to tear each other’s clothes.

The sound of the music had increased, and it was only a matter of time before he got closer to the dance hall.

But he was certain that the man he was looking at. Marcel, and he was not going to stop until he found him.

There were four staircases in the middle of the dance hall, and each of them had guards lined up on almost every step, their hands tightly gripped to their guns.

    CHAPTER SEVENTY-EIGHT There was silence, but everyone felt the tension as it echoed all over, hanging thickly in the air, and seeming like it was about to crash down. Vera couldn’t look Hudderson in the eyes, and it seemed like the guard beside her had died even though he seemed to be breathing. Apprehension simmered through their nerves, rushing like it was about to explode inside them. After about thirty seconds, Bruce drove Tasha’s car while she remained silent beside him, dealing with the feelings that gripped her. Hudderson followed them slowly, keeping a close distance.
