CHAPTER SIXTY-FIVE

“Hello? Charlotte?” Hudderson called out, but the call ended at once.

He tried to call back, but she was not taking her calls.

Without wasting any time, he sped into the road, stepping on the accelerator.

His body was covered with sweat as he drove through the busy road, maneuvering his way through the cars ahead of him.

He tried calling again, but there was still no response.

He intended to go to the company where Charlotte had gone to sign the deal, finding the easiest shortcut to drive through.

Then his phone rang, and as soon as he saw it was Charlotte’s name on the screen, he answered the call, slowing the phone down.

“Hello, Charlotte.” He waited for a while, but there was no response.

“Can you hear me? Where are you?”

“This is not your wife.” A low female voice resounded through the speakers of the phone.
