As soon as the villagers—no more than thirty people—saw a young man and woman step out of the house, they were stunned.

“Excuse me, is something going on? Why are you all gathered in front of this house?” Arya asked curiously, especially since every pair of eyes was fixed on them.

“You two spent the night in this house?” a man in his forties asked back.

“That’s right, Uncle. We even asked the owner’s permission. But what’s the matter?”

“Don’t be shocked, young man. The house where you slept has actually been abandoned for a very long time,” the man replied.

Arya jerked his head back in disbelief. “But last night we truly asked the owner’s permission, Uncle.”

“If you don’t believe this house has been empty for years, look behind you!” A fatherly smile curved on the man’s lips.

  • A Grand Feast for the Black Dragon King

The impact of the clash struck even King Wirabhumi himself. The powerful wave hurled him backward through the air, his body spinning once before he managed to regain balance and soar upward into the sky. He chose to continue the battle above the ground, not out of retreat but to spare the land below from further devastation.“Damn it!” the Demon General cursed furiously, his enraged voice echoing like thunder. He was furious—humiliated even—that this human dared to make a mockery of him.Yet that fury gave way to disbelief when he saw his opponent take flight. A human who can fly? Even though Sukracarya had warned that one of the Demon Generals had been slain by a mortal, he had never mentioned that the slayer could soar through the heavens like a celestial being. But surprise was not fear. The General spread his arms wide and rose higher, his massive frame enveloped by surging flames. In a blinding flare of power, twin horns burst from his skull, his eyes burning with a crimson glow

  • The Battle of King Wirabhumi

A faint smile curved upon Arya’s lips, though a flicker of bewilderment stirred within his mind. Somehow, he sensed that the two Demon Generals were able to see through his movements even when he used the Earth-Folding Technique—a secret art that should have rendered him invisible to mortal eyes.“That little trick of yours only works on humans, not on us,” one of the Demon Generals taunted, his voice carrying the weight of mockery. “No matter where you vanish, we will always be able to find you.” The words came right as his foot connected with Arya’s back in a forceful kick that sent ripples through the air.In that instant, Arya’s confusion was dispelled. Now he understood—it was not coincidence that they could track him even while he folded the earth beneath his steps. Yet this knowledge did not trouble him; instead, a subtle spark of strategy began to flicker in his thoughts. If they could see him even through the Earth-Folding Technique, then he simply needed to adjust the rhythm
