"You think you can fight me, Human? Your abilities are nothing compared to my power!"

Arya furrowed his brows. What he heard was no longer Sumi's voice, but another voice that seemed to dwell within her body. It was deeper, with a slight hissing undertone, like a snake.

"You can try if you dare, ugly creature!"

The handsome young man didn’t hesitate. He immediately summoned his Fire Dragon Energy to fight back. However, he had to calculate his attacks carefully to avoid destroying the forest.

"What kind of energy is that, Human? Who are you really?" The voice wavered slightly, revealing the doubt in the creature inhabiting Sumi's body.

"You don’t need to know who I am! Along with the body you’ve possessed, I’ll send you straight to the god of death!" Arya retorted.

Without waiting any longer, Arya dashed forward to attack. His Fire Dragon Sword, already imbued with a considerable amount of energy, instantly radiated a bright bluish glow.

The Crocodile Demon chuckled softly. He assumed that the young man's power had drastically diminished after executing his latest attack. In his mind, if the young man had not been exhausted, the impact of that attack would have caused severe destruction. Based on this reasoning, he concluded that his opponent was weakening.Arya pretended to smile wryly. I saw from afar that you were in a dispute.""My apologies, Lord Bayu Aji… but this young man insists on entering the Royal City. He claims he wants to participate in the upcoming tournament, but I have forbidden him."The man named Bayu Aji shifted his gaze toward Arya and Ratnasari. Bayu Aji asked gently."Yes, my lord. Is there a rule that prohibits someone like

Several other horses, belonging to the inn’s guests, were also tied there. In addition to being an inn, the building also served as a dining place. The second and third floors were for lodging, while the ground floor functioned as a restaurant. The atmosphere on the ground floor was lively. How about we book a room first, then find food elsewhere?" Arya suggested."Whatever you think is best," Ratnasari replied. The young warrior pair made their way toward the staircase leading to the second floor. Most of the inn’s visitors were also going to participate in the upcoming tournament, so unnecessary conflicts would only bring harm to themselves. After leaving the place, Arya and Ratnasari headed to another eatery not far from the palace. Though it also had three floors, the restaurant itself was larger than the inn where they were staying. People came and went, and nearly all of them were dressed like warriors. It seemed the upcoming tournament had become a magnet for warriors eager to test their fate. But if we meet on the stage later, he won't be able to do anything. So I suggest you hold back your anger and unleash it when you finally face me," Arya said.Darsono growled in anger. The tall, muscular man had no choice but to accept the handsome youth's advice. He had originally intended to beat him up and take the girl who was with him. Not only as a mere drinking companion but also for his sinister intentions toward her curvaceous body."This time, you get to walk away. But when we meet on the stage, I will break your bones!" Added to that were carts drawn by horses and oxen, one by one filling the roads.Arya shook his head. One thing confused him—how would he explain himself to his beloved now that his charade had been exposed?Much like her son, Queen Dyah Pitaloka was also at a loss for words. Although Ratnasari’s act of barging into someone else’s room without knocking was impolite, she couldn’t bring herself to be harsh toward her future daughter-in-law.Ratnasari, in truth, felt guilty for not knocking first. Especially since Queen Dyah Pitaloka, who had always been like a mother to her, was inside the room. But on the other hand, had she knocked, she wouldn’t have discovered that Arya had been pretending about his memory loss all this time.“I apologize, Your Majesty. I didn’t know you were here. If I’m disturbing you, I will leave at once.”“Stay, my daughter-in-law. Since you already know, I will explain everything,” Queen Dyah Pitaloka replied.<

Don’t let Brother Dewa’s words confuse you.”“What do you mean, Brother?” Prince Suryalaksana frowned.“You’re my brother. King Dharmalaksana glanced at Arya. He had actually hoped that his youngest son would speak up and offer his opinion. But instead, Arya didn’t even seem interested in what they were discussing. From the conversation he overheard between his father and Commander Argananta, besides the Purareksa Kingdom, two other kingdoms suspected of planning a rebellion were the Candipuro Kingdom and the Swarnabumi Kingdom.Among the three, the Swarnabumi Kingdom was the largest. Arya remembered well when he was six or seven years old, the Swarnabumi Kingdom had tried to attack and conquer the Sastrajingga Kingdom, but the kingdom led by his father was still too powerful; in the end, Swarnabumi had surrendered and become a vassal kingdom.Throughout the discussion, Arya didn’t say a word. Not because he was unwilling to share his thoughts, but because neither his father nor Commander Argananta asked for his opinion. Yet, for him, the key points were already clear just from listening. The handsome you

  • A Rebellion Plan?

“Believe it or not, but the truth is, your brother Jayalaksana has played a big role in saving your parents. You can ask Commander Argananta to confirm this. Or if you’re still doubtful, you can ask the soldiers who escorted us yesterday,” King Dharmalaksana continued.Prince Suryalaksana scratched his head softly. He then recalled Prince Dewalaksana’s words from before, saying that the leadership of the Sastrajingga Kingdom would eventually be handed over to Jayalaksana. That was why, even though he was usually quiet and not a schemer, he ended up being influenced. But he couldn’t reveal that now to his parents. He decided to keep that secret with his two elder brothers.“I’m done here. I’ll return to my room now. Father, Mother, I ask for your leave.” Prince Suryalaksana bowed respectfully before leaving his father’s private chamber. After their third son left, King Dharmalaksana and Queen Dyah Pitaloka also exited the room. We need to devise a plan to lure him out of the capital,” replied Prince Dewalakasana, his gaze still fixed on a small hut-like structure in the garden.“When it comes to making plans, Suryalaksana is the expert, Brother. Not even a hint of regret stirred in their hearts to apologize to the woman who had given them life.Arya was confused about how to behave.
