Chapter 14Soon, footsteps could be heard. Subordinates 3 and 4 were returning to the living room. They had finished searching the whole rooms upstairs, but found nothing. Chapter 13Meanwhile, inside the room, Daniel hid himself in a corner where he could barely be seen. He had finished eating the food that Ava had ordered for him a few minutes ago and was inside the kitchen washing the dirty plates when he heard a loud noise. Chapter 12The night shifted and morning broke out. The sun penetrated through the curtains into the room. Daniel slowly opened his eyes and groggily sat up.
