IRON’S POV

“How Hades managed to leave the Organization is still a mystery to me,” I said out loud.

I was in my chamber, thinking deeply about his disappearance, but I felt like I was in the wrong place. I felt like I needed to do something.

Enough of sitting in my chamber and just waiting for something different to happen.

I had thought that after my return, I needed to always been in the Organization to earn my place as the war god before I got back into being how I was and getting things back to how they used to be, but I realized that that wasn’t working.

It hadn’t been working since I got back.

And to think that Hades had suggested that it was what the Titans would have wanted, and that it was the right thing to do. I listened to him because he had been the one holding the Organization for me in the last three years that I was away, and now, I wondered if I should have heeded to that advice.

“I would think that he was helped,” Blake said.

I didn’t even realize that Blake had walk

ATHENA’S POVI lurked around Nesse’s house, but soon, I got really bored.“What am I to do with myself?” I asked myself. If we were at the company, there would have been a lot of things to keep me busy, and if I was in there with Nesse, I wouldn’t have been feeling this way because there was always something to be done.“Why don’t you take a walk outside for a bit?” A voice in my head suggested. “You can take a walk and still keep an eye on Nesse. You wouldn’t have to go far so that you can see just who goes in through the gate, and who comes out, and besides, it will just be for a few minutes,” the voice added. At first, I didn’t want to take the advice because I could never tell what would happen, and I didn’t want to take chances, but after deeper thought, I realized that it was probably the best.I had to, otherwise, I might either go crazy with boredom or fall asleep, and neither sounded like what I wanted to indulge in.“Are you leaving?” Nesse’s security, the one who was mindi

  • Take The Day Off

ATHENA’S POVAfter the doctor left, I went into the kitchen and took care of the empty coffee that Nesse didn’t even take.“Do you need another cup?” I had asked her after she mistakenly spilled the first one and before the doctor left.“No, I don’t,” she had answered.I decided to rinse the cup and keep it just where I saw it before she would demand for another cup of coffee, even though I knew that it wouldn’t be long before she would want more.Since Nesse became pregnant, she had been drinking an insane amount of coffee, but the good part was that the doctor already assured me that it was healthy for the baby. The truth was that there was little or nothing she could do to harm the baby, even though I knew that she would have done so long before now if she could. It only went to show that Lord Dante’s seed was truly strong. That shouldn’t come as a surprise; Lord Dante was a war god, and even though his reign might be shaky since he came back to the Organization, he was still one o

  • New Plan

JULES’S POVBrandon claimed that he was making moves to push the lawsuit aside, but I was still worried about the way he had kept referring to the money as ours.I didn’t say anything about it to either him or Arthur, but I just couldn’t stop talking about it.“What are you thinking about?” Arthur asked, coming into the living room.“Nothing,” I lied.Arthur came to sit close to me, but I got up and went to the other couch, and I ensured that I saw where he wouldn’t be able to join me.Arthur was instantly displeased.“What is the meaning of that?” He asked me.“It is too early in the morning, Arthur, and I am not in the mood for a fight,” I responded firmly.“What are you even talking about?” Arthur asked. It became obvious that Arthur would not stop talking to me, so I decided to leave the living room for him and return to the bedroom. Besides, it wasn’t like I was even watching what was being shown in the television.I merely turned it on to distract me.And I came out of my bedroo

NESSE’S POV“Whatever you need me to do, Nesse, as long as it is within my profession,” the doctor agreed. He didn’t have another choice anyway. Besides, there was a reason he ate off my money every single week.“But that’s not all,” I said.“What more?” He asked.“I don’t want her to know that she is being tested,” I said. “Is that something you can do?” I asked hopefully.“Of course, Nesse,” he answered, and I sighed with deep relief. “Blood is not the only means to get people tested, especially if you are looking for something like a DNA and the likes. Urine, hairs, and even parts of their skin and their fingerprints can be used,” he explained. “That is music to my ears,” I responded.“However, in this case, seeing that you are looking for something that might not be human,” he said, glancing at my stomach.I swallowed hard and I became uncomfortable.I was reminded instantly that I wasn’t carrying what other people was carrying, which was why I couldn’t get rid of it, and if I t

  • Organization Wall

IRON’S POV“You can’t be serious,” I said when I was eventually able to get out of my shock even though I knew that they wouldn’t play with something as severe as this.“We are dead serious, Lord Dante,” they answered at once. And then I dashed off with speed to the ring, right where I left Hades lying half-dead last night, and I stopped instantly when I arrived and met the ring empty.I could see traces of his blood that had dried up, and some were still congealed, but Hades wasn’t there.“Where is he?” I asked out loud.“When we got here, we found out that he wasn’t here, and so we thought that he had been taken to his room,” one of the Titans decided to explain. “But when we got to his room, we realized that he was never there,” he added.“Where are the Titans in charge of guarding the walls of the Organization?” I asked. My worry was building, and so was my confusion.I wasn’t even angry. I was just worried and confused about what happened.“Get all of them for me!” I barked out t
