Nathan gasped before folding his hands across his chest. "I would like to know what the place is made of," Nathan asked.

Oliver chuckled, then shook his head before continuing to walk forward. "If you want to be strong, then follow me. If you don't want to be strong and let the Brooks family have their way with you, then go back to the mansion. It's always your choice: accept and come, or decline and turn your back," he said flatly.

"Shit, this guy is hell-annoying," Nathan sighed before walking forward. “Wait for me, jackass,” he added with a tease.

Some minutes later, they reached a house—more like a place where animals are kept. "Is this the place where I will be training?" Nathan complained with a raised brow.

"Yes, this is the place. Don't be distracted by its view because this is the best place to train," Oliver replied. "Our first training will be hacking into tech," he added.

"What?" Nathan asked, confused. "How is that possible? We don't have any laptops, computers, or any

Victor already knew the entire thing but decided to act cool towards everything, even with the lie she was trying to pull. Victor sighed deeply, then let out a soft chuckle before speaking.“Listen, just forget about everything. Today was really stressful, and I don't want to add more stress to myself, okay?”Victor simply shoved everything to the side. Acting so stressed, but deep down, he was happy that he had finally met who he wanted to meet. Victor walked over to the sofa and sat down. He let out a deep sigh before sinking into the soft texture of the sofa, his hands relaxed on the handle, and his legs propped on the table. “It was very amazing that I was finally able to meet Zarek.” Victor then shifted his gaze to Jessica. “And guess what, mum? It all went well.”He then took another deep sigh of relief after saying this. “Zarek?” Jessica echoed the name in surprise, then walked over to Victor. “I didn’t know you were going to meet him this soon. No one had ever met Zarek. D

  • Chapter 304: Red Monac Family

The reason Zarek had been in this particular land, inside the single house, was because he couldn’t leave, somehow bound with the atom of the environment. An atom that has been used to create fragments of his existence after the project took place.Years back, Zarek had shot his father in the head after an argument about an experiment and how to govern the entire people, making themselves a god. Though the argument ended up being disagreed, and that was how Zarek killed his father. After everything, he absorbed the experience into himself, gaining immortality, the powers of speed, the powers of knowledge, and a lot more, almost everything that could make a man into a god. But it all came at a cost, a cost that Zarek never expected. He could only exist within a specific mechanised area, customised solely for him. A dimensional space that allows atoms to be manipulated, turning them into energy that will sustain his body. Furthermore, the seat Zarek was sitting on wasn’t ordinary. It

  • Chapter 303: The Core

Zarek then took a very deep breath into his lungs, before lowering his gaze and relaxing more into the chair he was seated on. “Take your time, Victor, don’t rush from giving me an answer to what I have asked for. I need a very tangible answer, and I don’t mind waiting, and secondly, the answer you give to me now depends on whether I will help you or not.”Zarek was serious with his words. He had concluded that if Victor didn't give him a tangible answer, then he wouldn't help him in any way. This sense of test was whether Victor was smart and brave enough to strike a deal with Zarek. Victor drew a very deep breath, relaxing himself, as he tried to locate what to say that would make perfect sense. He felt lost, but in a moment like this, he had to act smart. He had heard how manipulative Zarek could be; only by answering cleverly would Zarek agree to grant any wish.Victor’s thoughts raced. Then, finally, the thought settled on a specific thing to say, the perfect answer that he h

  • Chapter 302: Meeting Zarek

Soon, Victor and the other man who was with him reached the building he had been staring at. The structure looks old, made of wood with cheap designs, and at the top, a thin chimney stood out against the very tall sky, and from it, smoke could be seen rising into the air. The man stepped forward toward the entrance of the door, pulled out a card from his suit pocket, and pressed it against a scanning glass platelet on the door. And in that moment, the glass scanner on the door beeped twice with a green light flashing across the screen, then the door creaked open. The man shifted his gaze to Victor, then gently moved to the side of the door, giving a clear path for Victor to step in. After this, he gestured for Henry to enter.“Sir, please go in. Grandmaster Zarek is waiting for you.”Victor was still wondering whether to step in or not. Everything wasn't making sense, from the entire journey to this specific moment. His heart pounding on his chest, and panic gradually began to rise

  • Chapter 301: Drop it

The moment Victor stepped into the car, the door shut close behind him with a thud. The driver in the front seat started the engine, and the vehicle sped off.Victor watched as the car raced forward, stunned as to where they were going. Zarek didn't specify the specific location they were heading to, and worst of all, Victor is unsure if these men were sent by Zarek. Even though he knew the city roads well and every lane they led to, it felt as if the men were driving him through a place he had never seen before. The roads look narrow, with bushes all on the sides.A towering mountain could be seen from a distance. The streets and everything looked different, strange, unfamiliar. It was as if they had teleported to another country, because Victor was sure that a few minutes ago, he had been keeping track of the road before everything became unfamiliar. Soon, the car came to a halt, and the door opened automatically. Victor stepped out in that instant, his eyes darting around, confu

  • Chapter 300: speaking of the devil

“Exactly, Mum. You understand my point fully well; that’s the aim, and we’re going to achieve it to the fullest. So you should just forget about Sophia and focus on our plan,” Victor chuckled, then relaxed back onto the sofa.Deep down, Jessica felt puzzled about the entire thing, the organisation's name, and a whole lot that sounds weird and very suspicious and most of all dangerous. But no matter what, she had to play along. Maybe through this, she might discover where her daughter was, and once she made contact with her, she would look for a way to escape the city—somewhere far away where even Victor couldn’t track them. She wished she could convince him to stop, but she knew if she tried, he wouldn’t hesitate to hurt her. He was as heartless as his father.Moments later, while Victor and Jessica were conversing, Victor’s phone began to ring. He shifted his gaze, picked it up from the side of the table, and answered the call.“Hello, who am I speaking with?” Victor asked first, his
