At the break of dawn, the sun peeked through at the steel framed windows at Skyline Technologies, casting long golden rays across the lab floor. In the hall outside of Selena’s work area Jasper stood in silence, the recall of their late night talk still present in his mind. The plan was almost complete. Jackson would start up fabrication in days. Their first move in the mission had set out.But Jasper had enough. In only a few areas did he have an impact from behind the company walls. Jasper left the company in the hands of Evelyn and went straight to the Skyline technologies. He was pleased that Evelyn had called him concerning the employees protest. Soon, he was sure they would spill out who it was that had sent them now that they were on their way to prison.When Jasper got to the Skyline technologies, he ran his ID through the scanner which in turn opened the door with a quiet hiss. Inside the temperature changed, it was cool and controlled.He went straight to the lab where he was suppose to meet with Selena this morning, thanks to the impromptu call to the company, he had to let Selena do her thing until he return.In the lab on the third floor, Selena was hunched over her desk, typing on her laptop, soft jazz playing in the background.
