CHAPTER HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE For a moment, Lady Seraphina was convinced that General Hector was going to give her the response she desired even though she knew that he could be very stubborn. As she stood in front of him, she maintained a confident smile, hoping to hear a suitable response from him. “Go on, my love. Tell us where he is. CHAPTER HUNDRED AND FORTY-THREE Ian struggled with the guilt that crept into his mind while he watched the General effortlessly drag the ninja to a corner of the space, sweeping the floor with her body after giving her two heavy punches on the face, whichLucian was certain was going to give her so many bruises and swell. “Whoever is friends with Lord Ivan is an enemy of the throne! And enemies of the throne deserve to die! All of you!” General Hector said with so much anger laced in his voice, and while he was still dragging the ninja who let go of her swords while she grunted in pain, Lucian heard the sound of heavy footsteps stomping toward them, which made him then at once. “General Titus!” Lord Ivan said with so much disappointment as soon as he saw the General whom he was told had been burnt to ashes. He turned to look at the five men standing close to him with so much anger while they took several steps backward, afraid of what their fate could be. “Shoot him down at once!

CHAPTER HUNDRED AND FORTY-TWO The moment he got very close to the ninja, he went down on one knee, and then he pulled out his mask slowly, keeping his eyes on the face while he moved the black mask away. “I knew it!” He gasped loudly, realizing that the ninja was a young woman, a beautiful one at that. The fact that she said nothing or didn’t make any sound even when he stabbed her with his sword puzzled him, and he struggled with the guilt that surged into his body at that moment. “You were moving like a man, but I could tell that there was a little difference. Why did you let them turn you into this?”Lucian asked with a tone laced with so much guilt, struggling with the cringe that crept into his body while he stared at the face of the ninja whose body was already cold. CHAPTER HUNDRED AND FORTY-ONE Ian looked at the ninjas with a glare on his face, and as soon as the General walked up to him, he turned to look at him without saying a word. “There is no way I am letting you have all the fun, Lucian.” “Well, do you think you are up for it?”Lucian said in a whisper, looking at the General, who nodded in response even though the look on his face showed that he was in so much pain. “I hope you don’t give him a chance to kill you. Kill him before he does.” “Gladly, Lucian.” General Hector nodded in response, and then he started moving toward the ninja in front of him whileLucian took the other one. Before another blink of an eyelid, the ninjas had already started moving toward them with so much speed. It seemed like they were not the only ones eager to engage in combat as the ninjas bent in a combat posture, holding onto their katana swords before they made the first move. “This is going to take a while,” Lucian said based on what he saw in front

CHAPTER HUNDRED AND FORTY He thought that they were probably afraid of him, but they were only calculating the best way to attack him, and when they were able to unanimously conclude, they moved further apart from each other and continued walking slowly toward the General. After a short while, the ninja by the left attacked first with his two katana swords, moving swiftly while the General continued to block his strikes with an effective grip and accuracy. The General, however, was shocked at how fast the ninja was going, and that was when he realized that he had underestimated them. While he was still trying to figure out a way to totally stop the ninja from attempting to hit him with his swords, the other ninja rushed at him without warning, and kicked him very hard on the chest, causing him to fall on his buttocks while he moved backward, almost crashing into the pillar behind him.
