A few minutes later.

Kevin followed Cecilia out and hesitantly asked. “A-Are you going to divorce me?” His heart raced as he waited for her response.

Cecilia stopped, turned back, and looked around to make sure nobody was nearby. She then stepped closer to him and said, “I want you to get me out of my mother’s hands… that is if you consider me as a prize worth keeping around for a lifetime.”

Kevin was very much relieved and excited to hear that. “I-I will make Aunt Brielle to hand you over to me,” he quickly said.

Cecilia smiled. “Don’t make me wait too long,” she said and then rode away in her Mercedes Maybach.

Kevin then went over to his Chevrolet, a car worth less than 20K when he had bought it after earning some profit in the Serenity company last year.

He was driving to Serenity company, which only had one plot to its name in the entire city.

The products were manufactured in the rear half of the land, while the front half of the area was where the products were sold.

Kevin looked at his mobile, which had some words written on it.

[Shitty Mission Number One: Clean ten toilets or cleanse digestive tracts today and earn 1 million dollars!]

[Failure Penalty: You’re going to suffer from severe stomach upset that might kill you!]

“Which bastard hacked my mobile?” Kevin gritted his teeth. “Was it Dabby? Or was it Rory?”

Dabby and Rory were the two elder brothers of Cecilia. Dabby was the eldest son and the CEO of a construction company that created tiles, pipes and so on and also sold cement and sand bags. Rory manufactured machinery parts which were used in factories for manufacturing other products. Both of them would listen to their mother without question, and they both hated Kevin.

“It has to be one of them… or is it their wives?”

With a heart full of doubt, Kevin reached the company building. He parked the car and approached the building.

The guard sitting there was yawning.

Kevin stopped and glanced at him.

The guard quickly stood and saluted. “Good morning, sir.”

“I don’t see Emma’s car. Is she not here yet?” Kevin asked.

“She’s inside. She came here in her boyfriend’s car,” the guard replied. “It was a red Ferrari. And her boyfriend was quite good-looking.”

“Did I ask you all that?”

“S-Sorry, sir.”

Kevin then entered the building.

The guard sat down and silently snorted. “Hmph, he’s just a puppet, so why does he act like he’s the boss? The O’Brian family can remove him from his CEO position whenever they want. It won’t shock me if the rumors come true soon.”

The rumor that’s been running in the Serenity company for the past couple of months was that Kevin might lose his CEO position, and that his personal assistant Emma might become the new CEO.

Emma was handpicked by Brielle, and she was nothing more than a mouthpiece of Brielle.

Emma’s main job was to watch over everything Kevin did and keep him in check. So, naturally, Emma did not give much respect to Kevin and at times acted as if she was his superior.

Kevin went upstairs to the small wooden cabin built under the tall ceiling. This was his office.

Emma was sitting in his chair and eating ice cream. She didn’t even get up after seeing him. She was a tall, long-legged beauty and had a near-perfect hourglass shape with right proportions everywhere.

“Kevin, why didn’t you answer my call?” Emma asked. “I wanted to buy you an ice cream, too, but my ego got hurt because you didn’t answer my call.”

“You didn’t have to call my aunt just because I didn’t answer your call outside work hours,” Kevin’s voice was cold. “If you do it again…”

Emma got up. Because of her high heels, she was almost as tall as Kevin. She was able to look him in the eye without a shred of fear.  “If I do it again, then what? You’re gonna fire me? How? Will you beg Madam Brielle? Why don’t you show me how you’ll do it?” she was sucking on the ice cream while staring at him.

Kevin’s jaw hardened. “You… You think I don’t know that it is you who spread the rumor that I might be removed from my position, and then you’re going to become the CEO?”

Emma chuckled. “So what? You can’t do shit about it, can you?”

Kevin’s gut stirred.

Just then a message rang in his head.

[You’ve found the first filthy target to cleanse. If you want to proceed cleansing the target’s digestive tract, just touch their belly or their bottom!]

Kevin’s expression changed, a hint of cold excitement flashing in his eyes.

Kevin was questioned about his attempt to save the people from the burning bus.She and Orland criticized him very much, whereas Dabby and Rory scolded him, calling it foolishness to risk his life for strangers. On top of that, Brielle asked him about his fight with the thugs on the street.“Don’t drag our image onto the streets,” Brielle said coldly. “If something like this happens ever again, I will punish you appropriately.”“Aren’t you going to punish him now?” Naomi asked innocently. “How will he learn from his mistakes if you don’t punish him?”Brielle smiled as she could see through Naomi’s intentions. “Alright. Then you’ll stay in your room for the entire tomorrow and repent your actions.”“That can’t happen,” Kevin was quick to tell them. “I need to work hard every day if I want to win the challenge!”“Hmph, one day won’t change anything,” Sadia snorted. “Why are you acting like you can actually clear the challenge? Where are you going to earn 43 million dollars from? Are you

Not me, but they called my dad,” Dabby blurted. “Do you realize how awkward and uncomfortable he must have felt because he had to talk to the loan sharks?”“We never beg others for money, Kevin,” Rory added with calm pomposity. “You wouldn’t know it because you didn’t grow up here. And in the past three years, you've been busy cleaning toilets.”“Pfft,” Sadia nearly burst into laughter.Even Cecilia looked a bit shocked. But then she also understood why he would take the loan. He had to get the money from somewhere to multiply it and then win the challenge he had made to her mother.“I thought you might actually be up to some

The maids were standing nervously in the background.“I know you learned how to shoot from Dad, but he didn’t teach it to you so you can shoot his son,” Jack said.“His son?” Sariyu frowned. “You’re not his son. You may have the same blood as him, but he always regretted that you were born into this world. You’re nothing but a monster who killed my mom.““I didn’t kill her.”“Cut the bullshit. The flight didn’t magically crash into the sea. You were behind it. You killed not just my mom, but everyone on that flight. Calling you a monster wouldn’t do justice.”“It’s true that I hated your mom because she never considered me
