Escape From The Mountain

In the midst of the assailants, Edric identified Nan Faye's position and threw punches in the air randomly. 

With every punch, one of the guys would groan and take a step or two back. If he was not fatally injured, he would rub the injured part and then rush forward again.

More and more people came forward, surrounding the ape in three circles inside and outside, making it impossible to get through.

After a while, many black-haired apes on the mountain walls on both sides followed the two men.

Fortunately, the golden-haired ape did not know how to punch in the air, so Edric was not so embarrassed when he was running away.

Leading the golden-haired ape, they walked and stopped, stopped and walked, and when it was completely dark, Edric and Nan Faye stumbled to the foot of the mountain.

Without a doubt, they must be the Golden-haired Ape's younger brother, the Black-haired Ape.

Nan Faye, who was running away frantically, suddenly slowed down. 

Edric looked forward and cried out inwardly, "Oh no!" 

In front of him, there was a person with a light red light flashing on his body, and a wretched man was standing behind him. It was 'Garland' and Hangman.

"Edric, don't even think about escaping this time!" Garland said angrily, and shot towards him as fast as an arrow.

Before Edric could react, the golden-haired ape that was chasing him from behind moved first. It leaped towards Garland. Perhaps it realized that the man in front of it was not someone it could defeat, so it called on a group of black-haired apes behind it to kill him together.

Garland frowned slightly and stood together with a large group of giant apes. He was worthy of being a first-level earth essence level ten master. He could knock a giant ape to the ground with just a wave of his hand. 

The giant apes gritted their teeth and coordinated the attack with the golden-haired ape, surrounding Garland.

Edric nodded and continued to flee under the leadership of Nan Faye.

"Garland, that kid is trying to escape!" The yellow-haired man shouted at Garland while dodging Edric.

"Stop him. Don't let him run away!" Garland was surrounded by a group of giant apes at this time and couldn't get away. What he couldn't understand was why Edric brought down so many beasts from the Monster Mountain.

Edric looked at the yellow-haired man, an evil smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, he walked up to him, and punched him in the nose again. Suddenly, the yellow-haired man's nose was broken for the fourth time. 

This time, the tip of his nose collapsed directly on his face. He looked like a clown, with blood flowing. After two days of continuous nose injuries, even Hangman, who had great endurance, could not bear it anymore, and rolled on the ground, covering his nose!

"Hey, you want to kill me? My ass!" Edric glanced behind him at Garland who was slowly breaking free from the encirclement. He spat at the yellow-haired man, and fled to the foot of the mountain with Nan Faye.

Before leaving, Edric looked at Nan Faye again, narrowed his eyes slightly, and said to himself coldly. "I will remember you, Mister!"

Edric ran to the vicinity of the local station and called the police. When the police arrived, they drove to the crime scene while listening to Edric's story.

When they arrived at the place they had just left, they found that there was only a messy ground with weeds lying all over the ground. The bodies of more than a dozen black-haired apes and one golden-haired ape were spread on the ground. It was obvious that a fierce battle had taken place.

Not far away, a person's body was lying there. It was Hangman. The police went forward and found that he had died of a shattered heart.

Edric frowned slightly. 

It seemed that Garland killed him to silence him.
