Another Frantic Siege

"Wow!" Edric shouted excitedly. "This is amazing."

"Run!" Edric and Nan Faye slid on their feet and ran away madly. Nan Faye smiled bitterly. Now he was injured and couldn't use his strength. Otherwise, why would these little minions have to make him run away like this?

"Stop them!"

The group of people chased after them frantically, making the stones they stepped on crackle with force. 

One of them tapped an earphone on his ear. When the phone lit up, he yelled into it. "Hangman, that kid is coming down the mountain!"

The yellow-haired man and his men from the foot of the mountain rushed up and surrounded Edric and the other man.

The yellow-haired man had a bandage on his nose, which looked very funny. He said angrily, "Boy, you think this is a game of hide ad seek? Let me see you hide now!"

"You keep chasing me for no reason. You know what, I'm tired of running. Fuck off...!" Edric cursed loudly and punched the yellow-haired man from a few meters away.

"Damn it, he hit my nose again! Kill him for me!" The yellow-haired man ordered angrily with a sad face. His nose had been hit three times in the past two days. It was a bloody mess. It was hard to say whether he should replace his nose in the future.

"Kill him!" The guys around him pulled out their machetes hidden in their clothes and rushed forward with twisted faces. 

Edric took a deliberate glance and it was just like Nan Faye said, among these people, the one with the highest color of energy light was the Hangman with yellow. The others all had energy light below green, colorful, pleasing to the eye but not useful.

There were more and more people coming down the mountain, and it was difficult to get down safely.

The guys behind chased after them, and when they came to the back of a hillside, they slowed down their pace, a little afraid to go in. There were apes in front and some guys who wanted to kill them, at the back. 

Edric gritted his teeth and stood there for a moment. The guys behind them was getting closer and closer, and the black-haired apes in front of them was also slowly approaching.

"Damn it, I think we have to fight them!" Edric rolled up his sleeves and shouted. He kicked a beast that rushed up from behind him hard, and the beast was immediately kicked out. 

He punched another beast that rushed up from the other side in the air, and the beast screamed, rolled on the ground and fainted.

Nan Faye was fighting with the black-haired apes, but his strength had not yet fully recovered. It was very strenuous for him to fight these black-haired apes, and he was about to collapse.

Edric and Nan Faye circled around the black-haired apes, but were still hit by these guys from time to time. Both of them had several wounds on their bodies.
