Nan Faye saw that there was something odd about these people who came, and slowly moved behind Edric.

Edric glanced at the two of them and said with a smile. "Excuse me, did you two come to the wrong door?"

"Is your name Edric?"

"Yes." Edric thought about it and realized that he didn't know these two people, so how did they know his name?

"We are members of the Thorn Cloud Group." The taller man outside the door said coldly, "I'm here to warn you about something, entrusted by someone."

Edric was shocked and subconsciously took two steps back. He and Thorn Cloud seemed to have no connection at all, so why would they come to him for no reason?

The man took off his sunglasses, revealing a tattoo that stretched from top to bottom across his right eye. From a distance it looked like a scar. He smiled sinisterly and said. "Stay away from Yasmin. Yes, the girl with you in the Seven Stars Academy. If we find you getting close to or flirting with her again, you'll be in trouble."

Edric was shocked and angry. His fear disappeared. He had no idea what was going on and whether it had any connection with the previous incident when he was being hunted.

"What's the problem?" Edric was surprised to find that Nan Faye's expression was even more frightened than his just now.

"Thorn Cloud?" Nan Faye whispered, "How could there be people from Thorn Cloud on Earth?"

The man put on his sunglasses again and said, "We can only warn you once, and the Thorn Cloud Group always keeps their word. I hope you will take care of yourself." 

Just as he was about to leave, Edric asked, "Why are you threatening me?"

The man smiled and said, "Threat? No, no, no, we are reminding you not to cross your lane. Yasmin's father is the president of Latham Group, the head of the four major families on Earth. You, a poor boy from the slums, have no right to be so close to her. As for the client's name, we in the Thorn Cloud Group have been entrusted to keep it confidential. In short, take a good look at yourself and see if you are worthy of the daughter of the Latham family." After that, he walked away with a mocking laugh.

"Hey..." Edric was furious. These words were exactly the same as what Sebastian had said when he had mocked him before. 

When he was about to step forward to ask, Nan Faye stopped him. "Don't. Let them go."

"Uncle, what's wrong with you? Didn't you say that people from your Ousai star field are fearless? Why are you scared when you see these people?" Edric asked unhappily.

Nan Faye did not answer, but asked: "What did you just say?"

Edric repeated what the man in black said.

"Oh." Nan Faye said, "Then, I suggest you listen to them and stay away from that girl. You can't afford to offend these people."

"What do you mean I can't afford to offend them?" Edric shouted, "I thought you're a fearless person?"

Nan Faye looked outside the door and saw that there was no one there. He pulled Edric back and closed the door. Then he asked mysteriously, "Do you know who those two guys just now were?"

"The people of Thorn Cloud. They are just a rogue organization on Earth."

Nan Faye said: "Thorn Cloud? This may be their name on Earth. Let me tell you, the name of this organization is 'Rainbow Red Star Gate. It is a major assassin organization in the universe. The assassins are spread across the four major star regions. They are ruthless and merciless, and if you get caught up in their web, you will be skinned alive if you don't die."

Edric was stunned, thinking that this was what Nan Faye was afraid of, and said, "Uncle, you are wrong, this is the Thorn Cloud on Earth, not the Rainbow Red Star Gate."

"I'm definitely not wrong. Do you know what characteristics the members of the group have?"

Edric shook his head.

"Tattoo." Nan Faye said seriously, "This is a symbol of the Rainbow Red Star group. Anyone who sees the tattoo is like seeing someone from the Rainbow Red Star group."

"How can you be sure that Thorn Cloud is the Thorn Cloud and it's not a coincidence?"

Nan Faye said: "There are not so many coincidences in the universe. If it is an individual tattoo, then I am not sure of their identity. If it is a group of people who got tattoos together, it must be the Thorn Cloud. Let me ask you, does everyone in the Thorn Cloud organization have tattoos?"

Edric lowered his head and remained silent. Suddenly he smiled and said, "I believe you, uncle. Just stay away from Yasmin." But he thought in his heart, "I'm sorry, uncle. I've been threatened by Sebastian before. I don't want to be threatened by anyone from Thorn Cloud again. Even if I die, I will never compromise with anyone again."

Although he was unwilling to compromise in his heart, Edric still had to take his mother into consideration. She was powerless, so what should she do if she really ran into someone from Thorn Cloud?

Edric's two good friends, Yasmin and Alice, are both children of the four major families. She was a little reluctant to ask Linda for help, so the most urgent thing now was to ask Alice for help. He gritted his teeth and dialed Alice's home phone number.

"Teacher Alice, it's me, Edric. I have a favor to ask of you." Edric's face had turned red to the neck, and he said weakly.

"Hey, Edric. Why didn't you call my phone directly? Anyway, what's the matter? Tell me. I will help you if I can." Alice said with a smile.

"I don't know if you can help me to find an apartment near our college that is habitable and has good security. I don't have money at the moment, but if I have money I will give you back immediately." Edric said hesitantly.

"I told you long ago to move to the Federal Center with your mother. There's always sour gas coming in from the outside of District 64. Anyway, don't worry, I'll take care of it." Alice agreed without hesitation and scolded, "And you, Edric, if you ask me for money again, I'll tell her that you came to beg me."

"No, no, can't you just not mention it?"

"That's better. Leave it to me. I'll get it done for you after school starts." After saying that, there was a beep from the phone and she hung up.

Edric looked at the phone with a silly smile and muttered to himself: "It's good to have money."
