4. Dormitory Surprise

After leaving the cafe, Clarita decided to excuse herself to take care of what she should have taken care of a long time ago.

Clarita felt she had to get back to making Felix the main heir as soon as possible, which could no longer be delayed as Felix's grandfather's condition had not improved from his critical condition.

"Mr. Felix, I will contact you later to report anything you may need to know."

Felix simply nodded. Seeing this, Clarita drove away in her luxury sedan.

As Clarita was leaving, Felix suddenly received a text message on his cell phone from an unknown number.

"Have you seen the surprise I've prepared in your dorm, loser?" Felix muttered, reading the message.

Receiving such a message, Felix suddenly remembered his three roommates, who were the only ones who had been there for him over the past three years since he left home. This obviously made Felix worry that something bad might happen to them.

Felix hurriedly tried to get back to his dorm room. He ran for a while, finally getting there, before being shocked at what was in front of him.

His dorm room was a mess, and so were its occupants. His three roommates were there, but not in the best condition.

"What happened?" Felix asked as he approached them.

The three of them were completely battered and covered in blood, and they were still lying on the floor with no strength to get up.

"Felix, you're finally back? Where have you been all night?" asked one of Felix's friends named Kody, his words somewhat slurred due to his injured mouth.

"Don't change the subject; tell me what just happened to make you guys like this!" Felix said it in a high tone.

Kody just smiled wryly while the other two chose to remain silent. There were things they really wanted to say, but they were hesitant.

"Just tell me; I'll do whatever I can to help you guys." Felix was full of curiosity.

After Felix's words, one of Felix's other friends, Eric, finally spoke, "You know Vector? He and his gang did this."

The look on Felix's face instantly turned bad; he knew very well who Vector was.

Vector was one of the many university friends who had bullied him the most over the years. He was also known as the most feared punk at Aberforth University. Not to mention, Vector was known as Reynard's most obedient subordinate and was willing to do anything on command.

This made Felix remember last night's incident when he broke up with Anne, because Reynard had said himself that he wanted to make his university life a living hell, and maybe this was his intention.

"Tell me the details of what happened." Felix with his fingers clenched tightly.

Feeling that there was no point in covering up because Felix already knew, Kody, Eric, and the others finally told him what they had just experienced.

Eric explained that the three of them were relaxing when Vector and his gang broke in. Initially, Eric tried to ask the purpose of their arrival; who would have thought he would be beaten blindly?

The same thing happened to Kody and the others; it could be said that the three of them were severely beaten for no reason by Vector and his gang.

"Do you really not know why Vector did all this?" asked Felix, feeling guilty.

The last one of Felix's friends, Levin, suddenly raised his hand and said, "I heard one of them say something."

Felix raised his eyebrows and asked, "Can you tell me?"

"He said, blame your friend's stupidity for upsetting Reynard. I don't know what he meant, because to my knowledge, none of us would dare foolishly do that."

Buaghhh!!!

Felix unconsciously slammed his fist against the wall of the room. Felix's emotions were really running high, knowing that his friends would be affected by what he had done.

"Felix, calm down. Forget all this; it's better to act like nothing happened." Kody, with a worried expression, was afraid Felix would do something stupid because of his emotions.

Felix let out a long sigh. He was at a loss for how to explain to his friends what had happened between him and Reynard.

Felix was sure that Reynard would do something like this again later. Moreover, this time he had beaten Reynard up and not just offended him like last night.

If, just for offending him, his friends had to be beaten up like this, what would happen later? That was what was now occupying Felix's mind.

"The only way is to get rid of Vector. With this, Reynard will no longer be able to use Vector as a puppet to hurt my friends," Felix muttered.

In a fit of rage, Felix intended to leave the dormitory to search for Vector's whereabouts.

Felix's steps were initially tried to be stopped by Kody, Eric, and Levin; the three of them were worried about Felix, but the three of them could not do much because of their condition.

"It's my fault that you guys are like this. Now, let me take responsibility by avenging what Vector has done to you," Felix muttered before leaving the dormitory.

After leaving the dormitory, Felix walked down the street, not far from the campus. Felix wasn't walking aimlessly; he knew a place where Vector was most likely to be.

Felix finally arrived at a fairly large bar not far from his university.

The bar Felix had just entered was still quiet, and there were only a few patrons, which made it easy for Felix to find the person he was looking for.

"I will finish you off."

Felix walked over to Vector, who was sitting alone. Coincidentally, Vector had turned his head towards the entrance, so he knew Felix's arrival immediately.

Vector immediately stood up from his seat, a big smile plastered on his face. "Hey, loser. What brings you here?"

Felix stood right in front of Vector's body, which was twice his size, making Felix understand why his friends were trying to stop him.

"I'm sure you know why I came," Felix said in a cold tone.

A laugh broke out from Vector's mouth, as if Felix's anger was just a joke to him. "Did you finally find out what happened to your friends, loser?"

Felix angrily punched Vector in the face right then and there, knocking the unprepared Vector to the ground because he didn't expect Felix to dare do such a thing.

"How dare you, loser?" exclaimed Vector as he got up.

What Felix did immediately attracted the attention of security. The bar's head of security soon arrived with two of his subordinates, wanting to find out more details about what was going on.

"Mr. Vector, what's going on?" asked the head of security, who recognized Vector as a VIP customer of the bar.

Vector immediately smiled broadly and said, "This loser just hit me; you know what to do, right?"
