5. Unfavorable Situation

The head of security and his two subordinates immediately approached Felix with meaningful smiles on their faces; this made Felix wary as he realized something wrong was about to happen to him.

"Hey, do you know who you just hit?" the head of security asked.

"What's your problem? Why are you meddling in my business with him?" Felix raised his eyebrows.

The head of security laughed, then said, "Of course I need to interfere when the one you just hit is a VIP customer of this bar."

"That's right, don't expect you to get away with it after messing up here. Hahaha, after all this time, there's finally a fool who doesn't think about the consequences of his actions."

The two subordinates of the head of security said that with clenched fists, as if they couldn’t wait to beat Felix up for what he had just done.

"Hey, loser. Do you know how respected I am here? I don't even need to intervene myself because the guards here would be willing to take my place to do that," Vector said with a sardonic smile.

"That's right, Mr. Vector. We'll do anything for you as long as you're happy and not disappointed," said the head of security.

Vector is a well-known customer who does not hesitate to spend a lot of money every time he drinks at the bar. This makes every worker there get directions to treat him as well as possible, including the security.

"Now have you realized your stupidity, loser? Don't you think you can get off easy after daring to hit me with your dirty hands?" said Vector.

Felix looked at Vector sharply. He had known for a long time that Vector was an asshole, and this was one of the proofs.

"Are you afraid to face me? That's why you made them do it for you, right?" Felix asked angrily.

Hearing this, Vector laughed. He clearly realized there was something Felix was trying to do with his words, and he refused to be influenced or provoked by Felix's provocation.

"Loser, do you think your words will change the situation? I'm not some idiot who's going to get angry over something like that; after all, even if I beat you up, you'll still end up the same as when they did it." Vector pointed at the head of security and his two subordinates.

The head of security and his two subordinates immediately nodded in agreement. Vector was notoriously tough for an ordinary student, and they recognized that.

"Mr. Vector, we are honored that you are willing to entrust this kind of thing to us," said the head of security.

"That's right, Mr. Vector. The next time you experience something like this, don't hesitate to ask for our help."

"Exactly. We'll be happy to take your place for that. The same goes for Mr. Reynard; if you don't mind, please convey this to him as well if the opportunity arises."

The head of security and his two subordinates respected Vector not only because he was a VIP customer, but also because he was known to be close to Reynard, the young master of the Filbert family.

The Filbert family's influence could be said to be quite large in the city of Aberfoth, evident from how Vector could get this kind of treatment just for being close to one of their young masters.

Vector immediately smiled in satisfaction at how the head of security and two of his subordinates tried to lick him; this made him feel even bigger in front of Felix, who was a nobody.

"Now you realize the difference between us, right, loser?" asked Vector proudly.

Felix was silent; the only thing he could realize about Vector was how pathetic he was. What's even more pathetic is when Vector feels proud just because he's getting special treatment that's indirectly only because of Reynard.

It's even more ironic when the fact that Vector's closeness to Reynard isn't because they're friends or anything like that, but rather a boss and a pet, means that Vector can be discarded at any time by Reynard.

"Why are you silent? Do you now feel regret for having the nerve to mess with me?" asked Vector.

Unable to stand Vector's ramblings, Felix finally said, "The only thing I regret now is that I have to keep listening to your ramblings."

"Hahaha, this loser is tired of living," said Vector as he signaled the head of security to get ready.

"Tell us what to do, Mr. Vector. We'll carry out your orders to the best of our ability," said the head of security.

"Make him sorry, so sorry that he has to kneel before me to beg for mercy." Vector gave his orders.

The head of security and his two subordinates moved at once; they approached Felix, who seemed to be wary of their arrival.

"Don't blame us too much for this; blame your own stupidity, loser!" the head of security exclaimed.

Felix clenched his fists tightly, ready to fight even though he knew he would lose.

The head of security and his two subordinates were much bigger than Felix. Not to mention, they were already familiar with fighting, so the chances of Felix winning were almost nonexistent.

Vector, who had the same assumption, was just enjoying everything that was going to happen from his desk. He sat back and relaxed with a glass of wine in his hand.

Vector looked like a moviegoer with his favorite popcorn, eagerly awaiting a favorite scene from the movie he was watching.

"Don't hesitate; if necessary, break both his hands so he doesn't dare to hit me again," Vector said with a big smile on his face.

"As you command, Mr. Vector!" said the head of security and his two subordinates in unison.

Felix is furious at Vector's behavior. However, Felix couldn't do anything to counter his arrogant behavior because the head of security and his two subordinates were now getting closer to trying to do something to him.

In the middle of the situation, a man in a neat suit came out of one of the rooms.

The commotion seems to have reached the ears of the man, who is none other than the bar manager.

"What's going on here?" The bar manager asked for an explanation with a displeased expression.

"Mr. Manager, there's a troublemaker who suddenly arrived," said the head of security.

The bar manager raised his eyebrows and asked, "Troublemakers?"

"That's right, Mr. Manager. He has dared to hit Mr. Vector, our bar's VIP customer." The head of security gave an explanation.

The bar manager's expression instantly soured, momentarily turning to Vector to confirm the truth of the remark.

"Manager, long time no see. What your subordinate said is true; that loser had the nerve to hit me here in your bar," said Vector as he approached the bar manager to say hello.

"How dare he? Does he think my bar is a place where people can come to mess around?"

The bar manager immediately ordered the head of security to drag Felix before him, which the head of security did immediately.

Seeing how angry the bar manager was, the smile on Vector's face widened even more. Vector felt that what Felix was going to get from now on was nothing but misery, as the bar manager was notorious for being cruel to people who dared to mess around in his bar, let alone offend his VIP customers.

"You're finished, loser," Vector muttered.
