CHAPTER 186

Selena’s heart was beating faster than usual when she got to her car. She face palmed herself. Of course Taron would have asked about Rebecca, why did she have to let herself panic like that? Now she made herself look guilty.

“Stupid Taron McCarthy!” She groaned.

Taron had invited her to lunch, and she thought that maybe he would want to compromise by making Javier’s share a little bigger, and she like reject her offer and happily step on his face before leaving, but none of that happened.

Instead, he was having fun poking at her verbally and watching her squirm. Even took her food away from her when she was only halfway done with it.

If only she had not accepted his invite in the first place, Selena thought. Sarah would think that she was a fool and make a lot of noise about the mighty falling and everything.
