The Ambush

Lucas sighed heavily as he got to Rowland's mansion, he didn't know the kind of panel he would face when he entered. After a few seconds, he summoned courage to enter.

As he opened the door, he was ambushed by his wife, Justin and Marie. Scared of their thorough questioning, he decided to start explaining himself, “ I'm sorry I didn't come home last night. I was with Alex discussing some important things before I lost the track of time, so I decided to sleep over. Please forgive me for making you worried, guys” he apologized.

Lilly rolled her eyes and hissed. Her face was sad and she reluctantly went back to sit as if she wasn't expecting him.

Scared that his wife wasn't ready to forgive him, he apologized again. “ Baby, I'm sorry please, this mistake will never repeat itself again”
