Mark resumes work after the break given to him by the manager. He had earlier requested a break to look closely after Michelle when they came back from his mother-in-law's place.

The manager assembled everyone because he had an announcement to make which concerns them. Everyone assembled in the meeting hall including Mark and Mr. Davis.

The manager climbed with them onto the long meeting desk and faced everyone.
