Atlas's jaw tightened.
"Do you know who he is?"
"This is a police investigation, so you better stay out of this." The officer warned and Atlas was going to pull out his phone and call the Police chief when Caspian pressed his hand down.
“I can't let you go with them, you're way above that.”
“Way above the law or he's just being a coward?” Graycie played her stunt.
“You're still talking?” Atlas was heading towards her but Caspian dashed him a cold stare.
"Don't."
Atlas frowned. "Sir?"
"Don't make this worse." He said coldly.
But Atlas wasn't buying this. He quickly stepped outside. “Who are you going to call? There's no need.”
Graycie was already being led away. She turned her head toward Caspian.
For the first time since their wedding disaster, she looked uncertain.
Orion noticed it.
Then he leaned closer to her as the officers moved them toward the elevators.
"Don't say anything."
Caspian caught the whisper. His eyes narrowed. Orion looked back at him.
There was something in that look. Neither fear nor confidence. But something knowing.
The elevator doors opened.
Before stepping inside, Orion glanced down at his phone.
A notification flashed across the screen.
Caspian couldn't read it.
But he saw the name attached to it.
C.M.G.
The doors closed.
Caspian's mind immediately began working.
C.M.G.
He had never heard Orion mention those initials.
"Sir Titan needs to know," Atlas said.
Caspian nodded. "Since you insist."
Atlas immediately dialed. The call connected after two rings.
"Sir."
Sir. Titan's voice came through cold and firm. "What's up?" His voice was rather cold and pissed.
Atlas quickly explained the gun, the police, and Orion's video.
There was silence.
Then Atlas said, "Sir, I need your authorization to have the officers release Caspian."
"No." He snapped.
Atlas blinked. "Sir?"
"I said no."
Caspian who had walked to Atlas’ side frowned, hearing how his grandfather was sounding towards him.
Sir Titan continued. "Do not use my name to interfere with the police."
"But, sir, Caspian is your grandson."
"Did I tell you that I don't know who he is?” And Atlas staggered back. Cordelia, who had been keeping a silent stance, walked over, presumably to Atlas but suddenly switched to Caspian’s side.
Jett was sleeping so peacefully. One thing which amused Caspian.
“He really likes you,” Caspian said. But Atlas elbows Caspian towards what Sir Titan was saying. He remained still.
Sir Titan's voice became harder. "Caspian already came to me with his last request."
Caspian breathed heavily. “He still hasn't changed.” He hissed so badly within him.
"The suspension of Dr. Orion."
Atlas bit his lip, unable to talk.
"Grandpa, you still haven't changed? You're getting old. If you…..." The words cut off his throat suddenly.
Sir Titan paused. “What do you mean?”
He wanted to ask what if he dies, who will take care of his vast conglomerate. But this was going to look so similar like his dad who had looked for ways to eliminate Sir Titan in order to take over.
He wasn't gonna be like his dad.
“We're sorry to bother you, sir.” Caspian said in a resigned mode.
"He asked me to use my authority against Orion. I granted that request. Orion has been indefinitely suspended. That was the only remaining wish I was willing to grant him."
He tried to explain but Caspian was already losing interest.
Sir. Titan’s eyes lowered. He had expected anger. He had expected disappointment.
"Caspian."
"I understand." Caspian said.
"You should." The line went silent for a moment before he breathed heavily.
“If you are innocent, prove it without my name."
The call ended.
Atlas stared at the phone. Caspian breathed slowly. Smiled and returned back to the police.
Then he looked at the officers. "I'm coming with you."
“Your big paddy has rejected you?” But before she finished, a loud slap had already landed on her cheek.
“What? Why did you slap me?” She cried, Caspian stood still. His boldness alone gave her chills.
No one was speaking. Not even the police. Shame caught her cheeks.
"Sir, you don't have to….." Cordelia moaned.
"Don't worry." He nodded.
“I'll go with him,” Caspian stretched forward to grab Jett but Cordelia lingered.
“I'll come with you.”
Caspian spun around, shaking his head. “Do you really have to go through this for me?”
Then she looked at Jett. “I really don't want to wake him up.” And began to move.
“I'm not leaving you besides, your grandfather appointed me to take care of you.”
“Hmm,” Caspian draped his hand over her shoulder. “What someone else refused, another will do willingly.”
Graycie knew he was referring to her.
Her lips were parted, ready to hit him with vile words but the slap echoed on her cheeks with no one stepping in to help.
She withdrew, fighting her rage.
“I'll go to the station. I'll prove my innocence." Caspian uttered proudly to her while Atlas watched with displeasure.
He looked toward the elevator.
"And I'll find out who put that gun in my car." His expression hardened. "And why."
The officers escorted them away. Atlas and his men followed behind.
Caspian and Cordelia joined Atlas’ fleet of cars while Orion and Graycie were led into the police car.
Outside, they waited. Some of the police officers were sent to search for the pieces of the disassembled gun.
Evidence for the case.
From here, they all drove to the station which was a thirty-five minute drive away.
The fleet of cars on the road got people turning their eyes. People wondered who got arrested that such a fleet of luxury cars followed.
But Caspian's mind was already at the station even before arrival. This was clearly a set up and he had fallen in.
But he wouldn't be down in this for long. He told himself.
He sat up, chest braced with Cordelia’s hand on his, slowly soothing him while the other hand was carrying Jett.
She looked like she wanted to start a conversation. Caspian wasn't in the mood but her sweet, enchanting face softened his resolve.
“Say what you want to say!” He snapped.
She grinned at the opportunity. “I'm just curious. Now you know who Graycie is and that the baby you thought was yours isn't yours, what's going to happen now?”

Caspian quickly turned to face her, his eyes lurking with curiosity. “Why did you ask?” She flung her face away, trying to hide the nervous expression but Caspian already saw through it. “Like I said, I'm just curious.” She muttered. Caspian smirked, turning back to look on the road ahead of them. “That's left for me to decide. Let's finish with the police station.” Cordelia swallowed a mouthful. She nodded. “It's okay.” But snapped back again. “Whatever happens, I'm here with you.” Caspian only smiled, saying nothing. At the station, they were led to the investigation room where the Police Chief was already waiting for them. Seeing Atlas with Caspian, he stood up in salute. Both Graycie and Orion twisted their brows. Even the police chief knew Caspian. A thing which baffled them. The three began to talk, sharing pleasantries while Graycie and Orion were asked to sit and wait for them to finish. Graycie sat but Orion met with one of the officers. “I'm calling my lawyer.” C

Chapter 6
Atlas nodded and went out again. Turning to sit, his eyes met with Jett. His stomach knotted. A few minutes later, Atlas returned, bobbing his head. “Yes, you can.” “Give me the HR’s contact.” Caspian ordered. Atlas snapped at one of his men who linked with Dr. Fred. A number was sent. It popped up on Caspian’s phone, tagged HR. “What do you need the HR for?” Orion got alarmed, rushing to Caspian but Atlas’ men held him. Graycie stood up, knowing something was about to happen. “You must be joking if you think you can do anything to my man.” “Bold enough!” Caspian smirked typing into his phone. She rushed at him aiming for the phone but Caspian flung his hand up with it, high above her. “Give me the phone?” “Is it yours?” He teased, amused with the idea of stressing the guts out of her. He recalled how she stressed the hell out of him with allegations that he was her nanny. The accusations that he was stalking her. Now, he would do no less. So Caspian wrote a letter. Endors

Prior to his past. What happened to his parents. The very reason he'd been mandated to do this. The type of disciplinarian his grandpa was. Chapter 4
“I’ve received three emergency calls in the last few minutes about a suspected serial killer.” Atlas said coldly. “Who's the serial killer?” His voice edged up in question but no one spoke. Just stares, suppressed winks and murmurs. His eyes darted to the security guards. “Who's the serial killer?” “Someone explained this to me. Now! Or I will call the police chief myself.”He yelled. “All the accusers will be arrested!” Their hearts were already drumming hard. Some turned in blame. Others regret, wishing they never came here. Leon staggered forward, clearly shaking. “Sir, this man drove into the hospital premises with a baby and a gun.” He turned and his colleagues rushed behind others’ backs thinking he was going to call them. “I thought you all were strong?” Caspian mocked but no one dared to answer. Meanwhile Atlas’ steady, raging gaze on Leon lingered. He picked up his story quickly. “Graycie here had claimed he was her nanny but he claimed they were about getting ma
Chapter 3
Caspian pulled out his phone in rage, angrily typing Graycie’s name. Her number showed and he tapped on it. It rang. “Come on, pick the call!” He growled angrily. It rang and rang, no one picked. He turned back, driving his fingers into his air in frustration when he recalled what Atlas had said. About to call him to tell of the calamity he was in, he caught sight of a couple. With the woman looking so familiar. His heart ceased a bit. He looked deeper. It was Graycie. For a brief moment, Caspian forgot everything. The guards disappeared from his mind. Even the thought of calling Atlas to tell him that he had arrived. For one second, he simply stood there, staring at the woman he had called his wife. She was laughing, curled up in the arms of the tall, gorgeous man, looking so much like a doctor. The doctor she'd talked of. Then a black Ferrari drove by stopping at the entrance of the block, the car opened. She stretched up towards the man's cheek and gave him a kiss. “Hey
