Chapter 187: The Henchman’s Visit
Xavier I finally got to the shared office with Eliot and for some reason, I wasn’t ready to get any work done, maybe because he wasn’t there to watch me with scrutiny and literally breathe down my neck.I settled into my work station, turning on the air conditioner as I leaned into the chair. I took a deep breath as I dropped on the bed, the wood creaking a bit beneath my weight.
