Harvey borrowed some sheets from the other house help and spread them on a space in the stable and slept for the night. He slept off thinking about his wife Gracia, he didn't get the chance to meet her throughout the party, and he couldn't help but keep thinking about the guy she was holding earlier. He hoped it was not as deep as he thought.
Harvey woke up early and decided to go to the kitchen to prepare food for the family.
He passed his wife's room since they were not allowed to stay in the same room, he usually goes to her to greet her properly. But unusually, her door was slightly opened. Gracia was the kind of person who loved her privacy and always made sure her door was closed, but surprisingly it wasn't.
"Strange." Harvey thought, but then decided to ignore it, about to walk away he started hearing some whispers, slightly giggling.
"What's going on in there?" Harvey asked under his breath, who could be with his wife in her room this early morning?
He then pushed the door open only to find Gracia riding on another man's d***
"G-gracia?!" He stammered.
"What do you think you're doing Harvey? How dare you walk into my room without knocking?!" Gracia questioned as she got up from the man and put back her pajamas.
Harvey's fist tightened, his knuckles white with tension as his teeth ground against each other. This moment epitomized utter disrespect, and he will not tolerate it.
"How could you do this to me, Gracia?!" Harvey yelled.
"Who's this young man, how dare he interrupt our moment?" The man she was talking with said, as he got up from the bed wearing only a boxer and wrapping his arms around Gracia's waist.
"You!" Harvey recognized the man's face, it was the same man that he had seen Gracia with during the party, so his guess was right, they indeed had a secret relationship
"Just get out of here Harvey, you're causing a nuisance, can't you see I'm busy?" Gracia said.
"I'm your husband, Gracia, you shouldn't be in our matrimonial bed with another man, that's so..."
"Will you shut up already? Husband my foot, you should be happy I even decided to let you stay in this mansion. You're nothing but a disgrace to my family." Gracia cut his words short, there was no single sign of remorse in her tone.
"So you did this to me because of this man?" He pointed at the man who was busy rubbing his hand on her butt.
"This here is, Edward Garrison. He's the CEO of a large corporation, unlike you who depends on his wife to feed him."
"You heard her right? Get the hell out of here! Before I break your bones." Edward threatened.
"I dare you to!" Harvey replied his veins were all showing on his forehead.
"What? Do you know who I am?" Edward said, walking towards Harvey.
"I don't care who you are, but try to touch me and see what I'll do to you."
"How dare you speak to Edward that way?" Gracia asked.
"Don't worry sweetie, I'll teach this mannerless man a lesson." Edward throws a punch at Harvey.
Harvey simply held his fist and twisted it backward, and immediately Edward cried out in pain. Harvey went on and punched him in the face, Edward was already bleeding.
"What are you doing Harvey? Stop!" Gracia screamed, holding her mouth in shock at Harvey's behavior.
The whole family rushed into the scene.
"What did you just do Harvey?" His mother-in-law asked.
"Mother, I caught this man having an affair with Gracia, my wife..."
Eloise wasted no time in landing a hot slap in his face. "How dare you raise your hand on our honorable guest?!" Eloise pointed her nails in his face. "You listen carefully Harvey, you're nothing but a lowlife and worthless man, the fact that you are lucky enough to get married to my daughter doesn't mean you owe her."
"Mother, Gracia is my wife, I have the right."
"And don't call me your mother again, I know even your mother will regret why she didn't flush you away while she was carrying you in her stomach." Her words stroked Harvey like a dagger in his heart.
"I'm so sorry for the disturbance Edward, I know whatever that man was accusing you of is false. You don't have to explain yourself." Eloise said to him.
Harvey was dumbstruck, the fact that they were all seeing Edward with just a boxer and was sweating was evidence enough to prove whatever he just said. And she just acted normal, how ignorant could she be, was it because Edward was a rich man compared to him?
"As for you Harvey, I'm getting a divorce right this instant. I've already told my mother to arrange the documents. After yesterday's anniversary, I realized how worthless you are, I can't live another day with you as my husband!" Gracia just added salt to his wounds.
