“Ah! Ouch!” A soft voice cried.

Sara Gerald glared at her kidnappers, upset that they’d just thrown her into a very dark room.

The room was very dark and had two wooden windows and a light bulb that hung on what seemed like a tiny wire.

The bulb was dangling and glistening in multiple colours which wasn't supposed to be so because the light was a tungsten light bulb.

Sara Gerald was really scared as she stared around the odd dark room with the strange light bulb dangling over her head.

“Why are you people doing this?!”

“Do you delinquents really know the amount of trouble you all will be in for this act?!”

Sara Gerald yelled at the men who didn't seem to care about anything or whatever she was talking about.

“Speak to me you animals! What have you done with Mrs Juliet Marcus?!”

“For both of your sakes I just pray that nothing happens to her!”

“Because if anything should happen to Mrs Juliet Marcus, I will personally haunt you all down and send you all to a watery grave…deep down into

He was actually on the driver's seat of the All Terrain Vehicle which he was currently driving. The whole situation was intense and palpable as Debra Zachs, Mrs Juliet Marcus immediately armed themselves with their fully loaded desert eagle, they were ever ready for battle as expected of anyone who was actually going to be in the military team of General Carl Gerald, the renowned leader of the Elite Divisions Military units secret service agency.“What the heck, am I the only one who isn't going to get a g

  • Chapter 327:

Mrs Juliet Marcus's thoughts raced vehemently as she stared at Captain Luke.“But if I had to pinpoint changes... well, I'd start with internal communication.”“The agency operates on a need-to-know basis, which is vital for security, but it sometimes breeds silos.”“Elite Division Military units secret service agents in the field, like during the Justice Raids, could benefit from more cross-departmental briefings to avoid overlaps or missed intel.”“I'd love to see mandatory forums where lower ranks voice ideas without fear—think town halls inspired by the Unity Marches, but internal.” Mrs Juliet Marcus immediately said as she stared at Captain Luke through the rearview mirror.“Another thing, Captain Luke, is actually resource allocation. The focus on high-tech like Tech for Tranquility is brilliant, but grassroots efforts, such as expanding the Youth Reinforcement Programs, need more funding.”“We've diverted too much to border ops, leaving urban kids vulnerable to recruitment. Captain Luke slowly listened intently, his expression softening. After a moment, he turned his attention to Mrs. Juliet Marcus. "Mrs. Marcus, what's your take on General Carl Gerald initially blacklisting Jasmine and declaring her a public enemy of the Elite Divisions Military Units Secret Service Agency? It was a bold move, especially so quickly after the incident." His voice was laced with a mix of determination and curiosity as he asked and stared at Mrs Juliet Marcus.Mrs. Juliet Marcus sighed, folding her hands in her lap as she gathered her thoughts. "Captain Luke, it's a complex decision, but I understand where General Gerald was coming from. In the heat of the moment, with his sister—Sara—gunned down at such a public event, the priority was containment and protection.”“Blacklisting Jasmine was about sending a clear message: No one, not even someone close, gets a pass if evidence points their way. It prevented potential copycats, rallied our allies, and allowed for a swift i

Zaia Scott immediately straightened up a bit, wiping at her eyes as she drew in a shaky breath. Her voice started soft but gained strength as she spoke, pouring out her convictions with raw emotion."Captain Luke, I know it looks bad—Jasmine disappearing right after the shot, the footage showing someone who matches her description—but I swear, deep down, I believe she's innocent.”“Jasmine's been my rock for years, way before any of this syndicate mess escalated.”“Let me tell you about the times she's proven her loyalty, her heart. Back when we were just starting out at the Venus Hills group, that sleazy Mr. Ramos Parker and his even worse father, Lord Patrick Parker, tried to corner us during a networking event.”“They were notorious perverts, always leering and making inappropriate advances, especially toward younger women like me and Sara Gerald when she joined us later. Jasmine didn't hesitate; she stepped right in front of them, her voice like steel.”'Back off,' she said, star
