"It seems I'm due for a reintroduction," The lady dipped her head, "My name is Juliet Marcus, Miss Juliet Marcus."
Carl Gerald felt like he'd heard that name somewhere but he couldn't place a finger on it.
"And this is your account currently," Juilet Marcus continued.
She dragged out her phone and placed it by the side of the golden tray face down.
Carl Gerald, though skeptical, decided to flip it over. As he set his eyes on the amount, he almost dropped the phone in shock. It was well over 100 billion dollars and still counting.
"Carl, is that your account balance?!”
Sara also leaned in on Carl as she peered into the phone.
She scattered crumbs all over him as she talked with a barely full mouth.
"Swallow your food before talking, you're a grown up." He scolded, but the expression on his face said otherwise. He was subconsciously grinning from ear to ear.
"That's just your account you set aside for investments, if you'd like I can open your 5 other accounts, or just the main one."
Juliet reached for her phone, all the while being polite to the important man at her front.
Carl nearly fainted. It was one of 6 accounts?! He couldn't nearly imagine how much would've been in the other ones.
"O-oh, no thank you, t-that's not the reason I came here today." Carl stuttered.
"I actually came to find a house for my sister and I..." He confessed, becoming sober once again as the words sank in.
"Sister?" Juliet Marcus glanced at Sara who just put the sixth cube of sugar in her tea.
Carl Gerald saw the glance, but sensing nothing but curiosity, he decided to let it go.
"D-don't put too much sugar in the tea you won't like it..." Juliet was surprised that she didn't know how to take the tea.
"It's too bitter." Sara added the seventh cube. She then drank the tea, letting out a satisfactory smile. "It's good like this."
"Hm..." Juliet remained perplexed. Juliet Marcus redirected her attention to a bookshelf near the seats.
She stood up and began to search through the shelf, stopping when she landed on a thin spiral binded document.
She picked it up and dropped it on the table, "This is the ownership document to a villa." She sat down, drawing out keys from a drawer on the small table. "And these are the keys."
Carl Gerald read through the documents that were just handed to him. His eyes widened at some parts and squinted at others.
"I know it's not as big as you'd prefer, but this is the best I can manage.
If I'd known you were coming I'd have prepared something of your caliber."
"Oh, no this is more than enough!" Carl Gerald was even more astonished.
"Very well, please call me if you need anything." She smiled, pushing her business card at Carl Gerald.
"Thank you, really." Carl breathed a sigh of relief.
It went well, he could really use the card and it came with such privileges.
"Ah, wait! I almost forgot!" She rushed out and came back some minutes later. In her hands was a black envelope with gold designs. She handed it to Sara Gerald.
"It's a banquet that'll be happening late this afternoon, I'll call my team to escort you to the villa and have those injuries treated. Call me after you're done preparing and I'll drop you at the banquet."
"O-okay..." Carl Gerald felt it was the best he could do to show his gratitude. The team entered as soon as their exchange concluded, leading the Gerlad siblings away.
Miss Juliet Marcus breathed a sigh of relief as they left. Earlier she received a call from Debra that Carl Gerald might come.
"Thank Goodness I prepared." She grabbed a cup of tea and gulped down its contents greedily. Instantly she spat it back into the cup.
It was too sweet. Her face palmed at herself. General Carl's sister's tastebuds were too different.
She poured herself a new cup of tea and drank it satisfactorily.
Meanwhile Carl Gerald and Sara were in a luxury car, being driven by a bodyguard. Carl couldn't understand all the luck he was receiving.
He placed his hand in his chest to feel his excited heart, but he felt a card in his pocket again. Carl Gerald didn't keep anything there.
Carl Gerald pulled it out, it was a business card. That of Debra Zach. Initially, Carl Gerald was upset she'd snuck it in, but remembering what Debra did, he felt gratitude and decided to keep it.
Soon they arrived at the Villa. Every inch screamed of wealth. An ivory plinth supported a massive statue of a person holding up a pot on a fountain.
Of course the gigantic structure at the center of the villa was a fountain.
"Woah!" Sara was amazed by what she saw. She ran around as soon as she got out of the car. "Is this really ours?" She asked excitedly.
Carl Gerald nodded. As he observed the large mansion and its surroundings, he began to wish his sickly adoptive mother was here.
Pushing aside negative feelings, the siblings both began their preparation for the banquet.
By early noon, the team had finished preparing Carl Gerald. Carl's hair had been pushed back into a sleek hairstyle complemented with a designer tuxedo.
His injuries were well treated and hidden with care. After he was done he waited by the car for his sister.
When Sara Gerald arrived Carl smiled. His sister looked pretty and all her injuries were treated and hidden too. She had a slightly fitted and royal blue evening gown, and a slit up to her thighs.
"Carl, I think it's too revealing." She complained. She tugged uncomfortably at the slit and the slight opening at the back.
"I think it's fine." Carl admired his sister. Not paying heed to any more complaints, he picked the new phone he'd been given and dialed the number.
"Juliet Marcus, here at your service." Juliet's voice rang from the other side of the phone.
"We're ready to go to the banquet.”

Chapter 387:
Agent Marcus Chen, his face a mask of controlled fury, spoke up.“Jason, so you are…” he immediately took a deep breath and continued."So you're saying your father has infiltrated multiple government agencies, multiple military databases, multiple security organizations?""Not just infiltrated," Jason corrected. "Compromised. Corrupted. Subverted. Father doesn't need to hack into systems when he has personnel already inside those systems who will do his bidding.”“He doesn't need to forge documents when he has officials who will create authentic documents based on false information. That's the genius of his approach…he doesn't fight the system, he becomes part of the system.”The implications were staggering. If Lord Denver's network was as extensive as Jason claimed, then the Elite Divisions' entire security infrastructure might be compromised. Background checks, vetting processes, database verifications…all of it could potentially be manipulated by someone with sufficient resourc
Chapter 386:
General Carl Gerald immediately took a deep breath and stared at Jason, Nurse Evans, Doctor Amos and Lord Denver, who was actually the father of the three men who had snuck into the Elite Divisions Military units secret service agency and betrayed General Carl Gerald and the rest of the Elite Divisions Military units by facilitating the adoption of Sara Gerald, General Carl Gerald's sister.Debra Zachs was the first to speak at the moment.“Jason, why are you doing this?”“How did you infiltrate the ranks of the Elite Divisions Military units secret service agency, adopt Sara Gerald and make away with it?”“How did Nurse Evans and Doctor Amos actually get into our ranks and how are you all the sons of Lord Denver, the evil Lord and Leader of the Black Triangle Syndicate?”Debra Zachs immediately asked, her face was etched in shock and bewilderment as she and the rest of Elite Divisions Military units secret service agents stared at Jason, Nurse Evans, Doctor Amos, and Lord Denver who
Chapter 385:
General Carl Gerald's voice was the voice of a man accustomed to being obeyed, the voice of someone who had led soldiers through impossible situations and brought them home alive. For a moment, nothing happened. The darkness remained impenetrable, silent, giving no indication of whether it concealed friends or enemies, captives or guards, something dangerous or nothing at all. Then, a sound. A small mechanical click that every person in the room recognized instantly, the sound of a light switch being flipped. The overhead lights in that corner of the room flickered to life, harsh fluorescent illumination flooding the space and driving away the shadows that had concealed what lay beyond. And what the light revealed made every Elite Division agent in the room tense, made weapons track toward new targets, made General Carl Gerald's jaw clench with barely controlled fury.Standing in the now-illuminated corner were four people.Lord Denver stood in the center, his expensive suit somehow s
Chapter 384:
Immediately, Agent Cole Henry pulled another stun grenade from his vest, calculated the throw distance and angle, then hurled the grenade with precision. The flash bang grenade immediately arced through the air, bounced off the wall above the server rack, and dropped directly into the defenders' position. The three Black Triangle Syndicate operatives saw it coming and tried to react, one attempted to throw it back, another tried to shield his eyes and ears, the third simply tried to get as low as possible. But there was no escape in that confined space. The flashbang detonated with devastating effect, the concussion in that corner of the room even more intense than in the open area. All three operatives were immediately incapacitated…disoriented, blinded, deafened, unable to coordinate their movements or maintain their defensive position."Go!" General Carl Gerald commanded, and Delta Team moved as one coordinated unit. They all immediately surged toward the server rack position from
Chapter 383:
Debra Zachs moved in tandem with Lieutenant Alex, the two women covering different angles as they advanced into the room. A White Lotus operative emerged from behind a desk, his weapon raised, but Debra was faster. Three rounds…all center mass…and the threat was neutralized. She didn't slow down, didn't pause to confirm the kill, just kept moving forward with the relentless determination that defined Elite Division agents."Advancing center!" Debra called out, maintaining situational awareness and keeping her teammates informed of her position and actions. The White Lotus tactical coordinator, having partially recovered from the flashbang, was attempting to rally his remaining forces. He was a tall man, probably in his mid-thirties, with the bearing of someone who had extensive military experience. He carried a customized M4 carbine with multiple tactical attachments, and he moved with confidence despite the chaos erupting around him."Reform defensive line!" he shouted in English t
Chapter 382:
As the situation progressed, General Carl Gerald immediately stared at Debra Zachs and immediately signalled to the team to breach the door."Go, breach the door immediately!""I want Sara Gerald alive at all cost, even if it means bringing down this whole building." General Carl Gerald immediately signalled.Immediately Debra Zachs, General Carl Gerald and the rest of the Elite Divisions Military units secret service agents breached the door with an explosive.Inside the building, more guards from the Black Triangle Syndicates and White Lotus group immediately emerged with guns. One of the gunmen was armed with a fully automatic FN SCAR-H battle rifle, the weapon's black tactical finish gleaming under the harsh fluorescent lights of the room. His tactical vest was marked with the distinctive red triangle insignia of the Black Triangle Syndicates, and his eyes held the cold, professional calculation of someone who had killed before and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. The moment the
