The sounds of heels resonated in the empty hallway of the 18 floor and soon after a soft hume could be heard playing on the background.

“Ra ta ta," Williams's voice echoed in the hallway and soon after he came to a stop in front of the only door available in the long hallway.

His left hand streched forward as he knocked softly on the door. After he did that, he went silent and took a step back as he waited for the person inside to grant him the permission to walk in.

“Come in," Evan's calm voice sounded from the office and without hesitation, William held the knob of the door and twisted it as he made his way inside the office.

As soon as he walked inside the room, a fresh scent of roses drifted into his nostrils and he couldn't help but look around to see where the scent was coming from. And it didn't take long before he saw a brown vase at one of the drawers in the room. His brows furrowed slightly as he glanced at the flowers inside the vase.
